It being held at Esalen Institute on Highway 1 in Big Sur. Workshop is January 16th-18th. The first class, I believe, starts at 8:30 on Friday night. They also have movement (yoga and meditation) classes for no additional charge. It looks like a pretty cool place...they have hot springs and massages. Bathing suits are optional. Seriously. They consider themselves to be a learning community/organization.
Cost is somewhere around $380 if you stay offsite or share a room with at least 3 people. I paid $480 to share with one other person. Cost continues to go up if you request a single, etc.

discover the art of natural perfumery is to participate in a spiritual process as well as an aesthetic one. using essential oils, with their rich histories, properties, and symbolism, immerses the perfumer in a process of personal transformation as well.
This experiential workshop will teach you the fundamentals of working with scent, how to blend a perfume, and how to create a perfume formula. It is designed for all who wish to understand the world of scent and through it discover aspects of creativity and spiritual growth. No experience or special skills are necessary.
