Starts off really weak. Improves a lot (but not enough) around track #4 and track #5. A few tracks later and still, nothing to see here. 1/5 before it's over.

Trance Around The World 249 with Above & Beyond. Guest mix Myon & Shane 54.
A&B are putting on a great mix this episode, playing some awesome tracks (or is this my recent trance craving speaking?). Haven't got to Myon & Shane 54's mix. I have high expectations for that one so it had better be mind blowing.
Edit: Myon & Shane 54's mix is incredible: Mr Sam and Claud9 - Cygnes (Myon and Shane 54 Remix)

First time I hear this. Always thought the original was a bit weird, and the Trentemoller remix added to the weirdness. This one however is ok.

Oh, like Herbie Hancock, too!

"Boogie On Reggae Woman" by Stevie Wonder with a neat video of the 70's. Love that song.

I don't usually post in these music threads, for fear that I'll spend too great a deal of time doing so, but today I came upon a song that, well, brings me to tears. (hey-where'd that old thread go?) Sometimes I find a piece of music that seems to give my soul a ride. Like it's attached directly to some emotional center in my brain.

The Future Sound of London - Max

Check out the preview on iTunes.

Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill by Grouper

I had the Grouper 'Way Their Crept' album, which was very lo-fi and quite spooky. This 2nd album is a little more acoustic, warm-wind-blowing-in-the-summertime-breeze and yet saddening. Reminds me of 4AD groups like Mojave 3 or His Name Is Alive. Thanks nsamadi for the tip.

Robert Babicz - Nuda. John Digweed played this in the Christmas Edition of Transitions (22-12-2008). Very exceptional tracks on that episode - kinda sums up what I like about Transitions.

Glad you liked it. I love how the entire album sounds like one really long song. All the tracks in a really weird way all sound the same. I can't listen to this on headphones, but love having it played softly in the background. Especially on a cool Fall or Winter day. Beautiful stuff.
