I wanted something fresh and zingy this morning. I went with Classic 1920 by Bois 1920. There's a lot more depth to this one than you'd initially expect.

SotE: 4 more sprays of M7 (I know this initial honeymoon will fade, but right now it feels like I would be entirely content, satisfied even, with the idea of wearing this scent exclusively - despite its inappropriateness for certain situations :P).

Hermès, Équipage

Middle Notes
Carnation, Jasmine, Pine.

Base Notes
Tonka, Vetiver, Patchouli.

"The proper gentleman." Despite being created in 1970; this fragrance is quite wearable today. The opening blast starts off a bit floral and with a rather dry sweetness. I almost think I am getting a hint of anise (??). I am not as skilled as my peers in identifying notes but I swear I smell it. As the floral notes start giving way; the pine notes begin to dominate. The middle notes have a certain old school sophistication such as the original Polo by Ralp Lauren. Within an hour, the pine notes begin to mix with, what smells like, a musky sweetness; almost animalistic and fresh. I really like this fragrance a lot; one of my faves.

I like it - that ozonic carrot note in the top is strangely (and comfortingly) disorienting.

My first (and VERY long overdue) trip to a strip club I wore Chanel Allure Blanche. LOL. Boy that was fun. I wondered if that helped me get a little more attention than the buddies I was with cuz that's what happened. LOL
