Hi,

I'm thinking about adding to my small cologne collection(azzaro visit, drakkar noir, halston unbound,D&G Ph,polo sport, and curve) and I need some help. I've been reading a ton of reviews because more than likely, I will buy them blind. I've put together a list of ones that sound interesting. I'm hoping to get some input on the ones that are worthwhile. Also, if any of the ones listed are similar please let me know. Thanks in advance.

-YSL rive gauche
-versace baby blue jeans
-perry ellis 360 red
-boucheron jaipur
-bvlgari aqva
-davidoff cool water
-azzaro chrome
-givenchy pi
-boss bottled
-lacoste style in play
-CK obsession
-paco rabanne black xs
-versace dreamer
-armani code
-burberry london

you have my vote on bvlgari aqua (must have) , coolwater, burb london, armani code, versace baby blue jeans. Also based on your taste, you might want to add kouros, armais tuscany, aramis 900, fahrenheit, loewe solo, boss selection, hugo xy, boss no. 1, bvlgari extreme, bvlgari pour homme, bvlgari soir, paco rabanne pour homme to your collection, i personally feel they would come in just fine for you.

My Top 3 of the list:

YSL Rive Gauche
Boucheron Jaipur (Homme)
Versace Dreamer

Of those you list, I again endorse Rive Gauche, and will add a plug for Jaipur Homme, preferably in its EdP concentration. Jaipur is similar in overall structure to Pi and Armani Code, but exceeds both in quality, complexity, and sophistication

I would add Burberry London, Cool Water, and Bvlgari Aqua. I would also suggest Kouros, Eternity, and Fahrenheit three of my favorites on a man!!

I would go with azzaro chrome or
davidoff cool water

Thanks for the help. I'm thinking of going with YSL Rive Gauche and Bvlgari Aqva for now. Are these suitable for a young guy like myself?

I think any fragrance is fine as long as YOU like them. I wear scents geared towards both older and younger genres...you have to wear what you choose with confidence....don't let the fragrance wear you! Test out some fragrances you think you like and see if they get the attention you are looking for.

definately Rive Gauche for formal nights out and come on peoples...lol Obsession, thats my all time fall winter scent....I have cool water, eau savge, both xeryus's, fahreneheit, sexual fresh,, dreamer, joop, fuel for life, ysl, l-homme, envy, and ed hardy, all are ok, but i shear more compliments with the session...the OB session that is.....don't know why, to each his own oh ya i forgot le male but that is one that everyone here thinks is played out, which it is, but I like long lasting fragrances

Why are you buying them blind?

I think the worst thing to do is to buy something you've never smelled on you. Something can smell completely different on you than it did on the card, even.

Why buy all of them blind? Many of those are available to test at stores like Macy's, Nordstrom's, Sephora, Perfumania, etc.

What country are you from? If you're not from the United States than the only store that may be available is Sephora.
