Re: The Attorney's wardrobe photos.
I love the Hermes bottles. So heavy and indestructable appearing even though they are glass. I imagine they could double as a self-defense weapon if need be..
Here´s my humble collection. Just added Floris Vetiver to the family.
Sorry for the crap phone pics, still haven´t bought a new camera.

Thanks for the kind words Jack.

Lizzie J, yes they are, indeed, quite heavy. I think that if someone were hit with either bottle then they would be in serious trouble. I am suprised because they really weigh alot; more than most bottles I have ever had the pleasure of holding.
Wow, Jenson!!! WOW! You've come A LOOOOONNNGGGG WAY in a short period of time!

I had to cheat and make a collage as I only had one shelf:

I see Cedre Sandaraque and Cadjmere. As well as the new Divine! How is it? Looking forward to seeing a review on it.

irrbloss -- That's a very well-done collage!

jenson -- I bet you possibly may have the highest number of Profumums and TDC's in Mumbai. Great collection that I am sure will double in a couple of months from now. It's fun to see it grow.

bbBD -- As usual, I love your collection as I think it is the closest to what my taste likes. **quickly snatches Oriental Brulant and Cuir Ambre as Ben looks away**

thnk u thnk u my freind . i still remember how i used to pester you on creeds, serge lutens and hermes when i joined BN. i almost expected you to write a review (which you did, patiently) on them so i could get a feeler for how these "niche" scents smell like

im a "very" small man in mumbai buddy...i knw of some people who own the entire line from PG, By Kilians and others...and hey..pls dont wish for a bigger collection for me..else im in trouble

Eric: it's about time you skip a scent and buy a camera instead lol
post #141 of 511
Irrbloss, that is one really nice picture of your collection you posted there!

Jenson, I´m too lazy to post a decent review of L´Etre Aime lol! , but imagine L´Homme Sage, less balmy and more dry , with nice , but not too heavy immortelle note. I love it, together with Cadjmere one of my favorite purchases of last year. Nice collection you have there yourself.I see you like Villoresi and TDC. Never sampled anything from TDC.

Nice collection, awesome camera! I can literally read the tiny print on the bottles.
Here's mine. The picture quality isn't great as it's an indoor pic. It only holds 48 on the shelves of my 160+ frags so the rest stay in the draw :P

Everyones collections look great! My collection is still puny, I need to get a few more bottles before I take a pic.
I was bored today....here's my petite collection. EDIT: I forgot to add my bottle of Rose 31.

Here's my little collection. Bought all of these after discovering this fantastic community last year (thank you!) I'm gonna add L'air du Desert Marocain to my collection and then take a long break from buying.

That's what I thought after I added L'Air.

Btw, we share a lot. Bulgari Black, Creed SMW, Dior Homme, Terre d'Hermes....

Some absolutely unbelievable collections you guys have here

Just snapped this really quick with my iPhone. I guess the camera on that thing isn't all that great.

Just wanted to show the evil closet. The walls are roughly outfitted with grey plaid suiting with green detail, which will later be used to customize the wine fridge I will buy.

have you heard of this dreaded addcition called Creedaligons ? lovely collection scentronic...you smell good!

I moved into a new appartment and I want to display my bottles somewhere nice, but I´m also trying to think of earthwuakes. So now they are in a cupboard that´s not in any direct sunlight (it´s a bit dark but enough light to see something) but its on another desk so it´s not very stable. It has to be moved because if an earthwuake hits..well I´d be in tears for days.

Also if I move it my collection has more space, the desk its in now is very cramped and even my bf said my collection looked small all of a sudden.

I´ll take pics soon of my old display closet and the new shelf. Hopefully more quake proof than the stacked desks.

Yes, it seems to afflict those of us with impeccable taste in fragrances
post #158 of 511
I found an auction on ebay that I thought might amuse some of you. It's like the bizzaro-basenoter wardrobe collection. Instead of Creed's and Bonds, the lot of fragrances pictured has sections of AXE and BOD backing up the Stetsons and Antonio Banderas'. Get your bids in early:

All left, Narciso Rodriguez for Him, Giorgio Armani Acqua di gio (with shower gel and balsem, have lots of empty bottles.) On the back, Diesel Fuel for Life, up front Baldessarini Strictly Private (my baby) Behind that one Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo, than Dior Homme and an Mexx I got years ago, but not really my thing.

So, that's the real bottles, further a big box full of testers and samples.

Oh, on the background we have a D&G the One deospray, and like always Axe Choclate deosprays.. wich I've been using for ages now, haha.

What you think of it?
nice start Justin, i was tempted to blind buy Narcisco R but the comparison with Grey Flannel did it for me. how do you like Dior Homme?

I'm tempted to buy lots more these days, but I have to watch out.

Its been a little while since I've posted one of these of my collection... so here's the latest...
nice Dimitri! what's the bottle that look like a glass genie bottle?
Thanks cmax - the "genie bottle" an unopened vintage 4711 cologne bottle in a cut flass flacon dating back to the 1930s! I found it last year in a fleamarket here in denmark for about $2.10! An absolute steal!
wow sweet!!!
Well well well, after starting with nothing, I now have this:

All of those samples except the ones in the zip bags arrived today. The cards were also samples from my walk in DJs today.

Rearranged top view, zip bag samples kindly provided by Jack. From top to bottom - Davidoff Coolwater, Joop! Homme and Azzaro Chrome. Really liking Chrome atm, might by it as my first full bottle =D
I can't wait to test all my new samples!
S.
Edit: How can i make my pictures smaller? I uploaded to Photobucket and tried resizing... didn't do anything! Sorry if the pictures are a bit intrusive!

Thanks Jenson

The Prada Amber is one of the first scents I replenished my collection with after moving from Australia to Denmark. I still have many body products with this one, so I do use it... not 100% sure if I'll get another bottle yet.

The bottle next to Eau Noire is Rancé 1795 Le Vainqueur - a lovely surprise gift my wife bought back for me from a trip to the Ukraine.
Top far left is Trussardi Inside Man (sans cap).

Thanks Oslo-Fjord... Trussardi Inside aside, of course! As yet I havent been able to give this stuff away. It was sitting in my sales thread for $15 for about 2 whole months. Ah well, one to pass on to a relative I suspect.
I don't have a proper place for my fragrances, so I keep them in the cabinet with my movies. Didn't take a picture of my samples since they look all the same. Anyways, here is my small gathering of scents. Picture quality sucks.

You should totally buy a cabinet or shelf for them... really great scents you'd got!

I love the Guerlain spiritueuse Double Vanille bottle...I think I am going to get it too...soon.

What's in the 5th bottle from the left? TV that you bought from the split?

Heh, appearances can be deceiving. I bought the Platinum Égoïste at about that level, and I traded 30mL of TdH for the 30mL square bottle in the foreground, which contains Un Jardin En Mediterranee. These days I'm most frequently reaching for Havana (surprise!), Antidote, Baldessarini Ambre, and Kouros.

Per your request, Jenson, here's a snapshot of my current lineup. I was in the middle of packing for a move when this thread first started. I'm a little more settled now. I know it's a crowded array but I'm not one to spend a lot time setting up a photo. Besides, I like seeing them all together.
