I am a newbie here, but a lurker for years. I have a few bottles currently, Creed- Santal, Hanna Morrae, Creed- Imperial, and a few others.

I have discovered that the majority of the scents I like are in the "woody-oriental" category. I was hoping I could request suggestions from others.

I am looking to purchase the Tom Ford TV, although I have not sniffed it and NO ONE in NE Ohio carries it.

If this is in the wrong section, I am sorry.

I am in NE Ohio also. I called the Tom Ford boutique in New York. They sent samples to me at no charge. Many other companies offer samples free or at a nominal charge. The Perfumed Court, BeautyHabit and Luckyscent are also good sources for samples.

Thanks...I will try them on Monday. I ordered it today from Neiman Marcus online but will hold off opening it until the samples arrive.

The Santal I have and enjoy is Original Santal by Creed.

Just an update:

I called Tom Ford this morning and the people there COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER. They are sending me a few samples out of the ones I was looking for. Thank you again.
