Masking odor with scented deodorants (even if they smell like the fragrance I'm wearing) is infective, if you ask me. Applying a scented product will not prevent bacteria from producing odor. Sorry for the gross analogy, but if you spray a room deodorizer after taking a crap, you smell flowers and crap.
Using unscented anti-persperants is a mixed bag with possible health concerns; they clog pores, they prevent sweating (a necessary human function) and the jury is still out on the health concerns of aluminum.
The best options I have found are one of the following products; Crystal deodorant, Kiss My Face Active Enzyme Unscented, Earth Science Lichen Deodorant Unscented. These all work by killing the bacteria that cause odor, not masking it. And their effects last a day or longer. The latter 2 are the most effective, but the crystal is the best value, it lasts forever.
