What deodorant do you wear with your colognes?

I have a few frag sets that came with deodorant, so I pair those up of course. But generally I wear heavier scented Speed Stick. I try to sort of pair it with what I'm wearing since there is a variety, fresh, spice, musk etc. Just wondering what you guys use? (A few months ago I would never have thought I'd be asking such weird question! )

I use Mitchum Fragrance-Free deodorant spray. Wouldn't want my deodorant smell to mix with my SoTD.

I think there was an extensive thread on this subject a while back, but what the hey...

Clinique for Men is the best deo/anti-p I've come across. Worth the extra few bucks.

Mitchum anti-perspirant OR Catalyst for Men (Halston) deodorant. My favorite scented deodorant is good ol' Polo.

I think most Basenoters have at some point realized that unscented is the only way to go. I can't believe I used to wear scented deodorants that clashed.

Mitchum all the way.

I don't think that I've ever owned an unscented deodorant, but looks like I need some. And it looks like it will be Mitchum.

This subject comes up from time to time.

Masking odor with scented deodorants (even if they smell like the fragrance I'm wearing) is infective, if you ask me. Applying a scented product will not prevent bacteria from producing odor. Sorry for the gross analogy, but if you spray a room deodorizer after taking a crap, you smell flowers and crap.

Using unscented anti-persperants is a mixed bag with possible health concerns; they clog pores, they prevent sweating (a necessary human function) and the jury is still out on the health concerns of aluminum.

The best options I have found are one of the following products; Crystal deodorant, Kiss My Face Active Enzyme Unscented, Earth Science Lichen Deodorant Unscented. These all work by killing the bacteria that cause odor, not masking it. And their effects last a day or longer. The latter 2 are the most effective, but the crystal is the best value, it lasts forever.

Mitchum unscented spray.

doesn't clash with fragrances, and is truly effective against sweat (and therefore odour) at a fantastic price point.

i too am horrified that i used to wear scented anti-perspirants like Right Guard - i borrowed some the other day when staying with a friend, and even a light application seemed to fight with my sotd terribly.

Currently; Mugler's Cologne mineral deodorant (unscented).

Gillitte's Clinical strength unscented or unscented Sure Max clinical strength, both made by proctor and gamble, which ever is on sale. Both last about 80-90 days, both about 45-50% more than standard deod's,(6.50-8.50 range in dollars) both absolutly great.

I use a mineral salt roll on deodorant. The salt fights odor and lasts all day. It's obviously unscented. I will forever use mineral salt deodorant since it works perfectly and there are no chemicals or whatnot like in conventional deodorant sticks. I urge everyone to try this but I'm sure many are content with their choices and will refuse to change. I found the Tom's of Maine unscented stick to be terrible. It wasn't unscented like it claimed to be and had this really bad grassy smell that smelled worse than anything my sweat could have produced. I threw it out after two uses. The mineral salt deodorant will last you for a really long time. I've been using my for several months now and there's barely a dent in the amount I've used. I can see this one lasting for years.

Deodorant crystals for life. They feel a lot better when applied, don't get sticky, and have absolutely no scent.
