Fougère Marine

Just discovered this lately. Really nice aromatic fougère but can someone tell me where the sea is in there?

I yet have to find a mariner fragrance that makes justice to its name. The closest I found was Kenzo. I work in marine environment perhaps I am anal about that "right marine note". I have not tried Fougere Marine but it wont surprised me if you are still wondering where is the sea in there.

I felt the sea was there, loud and clear, but NOT in the opening, rather later. The opening starts out very much an aromatic fougère, but a marine character come out later and prominently on my skin.

Sometimes the sea smells like the way a foghorn sounds.

go straight to the mids..take a left and then a right and go right ahead till you hit the beach

honestly, i totally agree with you...the smell of being at sea is not really prominent..it;s more like having mineral water in a deserted island. lovely scent.

the only ones that have captured the smell of sea (of what i have tested) are Erolfa, Beth Terry Mare and Bulgari Aqua...

Bvlgari aqua was ruined by that pepper note, totally unnecessary
