Time for the first stats in 2009!

Mine look like this, what do yours look like?

7\tNAimez Que Moi\t
6\tMesse de Minuit
4\tEncens et Lavande
3\tFarnesiana, Poivre
2\tCoup de Fouet, Five OClock au Gingembre, Jicky, Louve, Luctor et Emergo, New York, Nuit de Noël, Serge Noire, Shalimar

Caron and incense were big this month, so were spices. Not surprising since January is the coldest month of the year (at least here in Finland).

Hi Tigrushka! I've never done this before. Part of my month was spent on vacation in a warmer clime, so that skewed my results a bit. The only fragrances I wore more than once were the following:

Kai - twice
Fleur de Liane - twice
Dzonghka - three times

It was a month of exploration for me. Quite a number of tropicals and incenses in the mix, I notice.

For me it would be Zibeline. I wore it for 8 days +, day and night, that would make 16 times. Cuir de Lancome would be second, 3 days and counting, day and night would be 6 times. I guess Prelude by Balenciaga would be next, probably wore that 5 times.
I guess I am a bit of a 'creature-of-habit', as the saying would go.

Totals:
Zibeline-16 times
Cuir-6 times
Prelude-5 times

I don't know the exact numbers but Dzing!, No5 and Lolita Lempicka I wore most this month. I wore Jungle L'Elephant during my vacation in a tropical climate.

For January I got 5 x wears out of my Ormonde Jayne Frangipani sample so this was easily the most worn fragrance!
Other January frags were:
3 x Vanille Noire Du Mexique
3 x Ambra del Nepal
3 x Gotham
3 x MAC MV1
2 each of Artemisia, Narciso Rodriguez for Her and Crystal Noir.

Wow, it's somewhat relieving to see that others do wear something more than 7 days in a given month.

I have never tried to tabulate my wears before, but it's rather easy with the search function. I thought I hadn't worn much else, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that I did.

Aiona, I admire your focus with one fragrance. I feel like I have extreme ADD with fragrances!

My repeated wears this month aren't very wintry, but then again, we don't really get winter in San Diego:

A total of 40 different types of scents worn in Jan 2009.
2 x Shalimar by Guerlain
2 x Saso by Shiseido
The rest are single application.
House of the month: Guerlain
Observation of the month: There is a tendency to reach for richer, sweeter, incensy types of perfume.

I had no repeats this month. The house with most wearings was Serge Lutens with three, followed by Bond, Bulgari, and Boucheron with two.

I sampled three new-to-me scents: Fresh Strawberry Flower, Parfumerie Generale Querelle, and Miller Harris Cuir d'Oranger.

Three times for Pink Sugar. I can explain!

I nearly went off scent this winter, for reasons that still are not clear. It may have been the unfamiliar climate. When I did wear scent, I only wanted the sweetest things I could get my hands on. I tried to force tropical scents on rainy, windy Key West, and I failed; after Thanksgiving I wore Castelbajac in western VA and I never want to smell it again.

I've also worn Lutens' FdO, Datura Noir, and Chanel No. 19.
