I think i like fragrances from the 70-ies better than the 80-ies. Scents like Azzaro, Pierre Cardin, Paco Rabanne (which i now have ordered!), and so on..
I have used Azzaro and Pierre Cardin for a looong time ago, and i remember them as very good fragrances..Unfortunately i can`t get them in my country enymore..
Which one of these two would you classify as the best?? Maybe they are equal?

I'm a 70s fan, too! Probably influenced by the fact that I came of age in that decade, so my memories of those times and the fragrances that were popular back then are still vivid.

I own and enjoy both Pierre Cardin and Azzaro. In the states, they're both so cheap that it's irrelevant as to which to choose - buy them both! However, if I had to choose, I'd go with Azzaro because it's probably just a bit more wearable in these "Horrible Naughts". Pierre Cardin is sweeter, much more floral (can't say there's much floral going on at all in Azarro). Azzaro is a more mature scent, PC is a younger scent (younger by 70s standards, mind you!).

I would have to plump for Azzaro, as it has stood the test of time better than Pierre Cardin. I can remember using both all those years ago, but I think I like Azzaro even more now than I did then. On the days when I want a sawn off shotgun, rather than a Luger, I pick my Azzaro.

No question, Azzaro is better and one of the finer frags still out there. Cheap at www.Scentiments.com

Hmm.. If i don`t remember wrong, Azzaro is like a sharper, spicy version of Trussardi Inside..

I absolutely agree.

In the minority clearly but I'm getting one back for Pierre Cardin! ;- )

I like Azzaro too but I have always loved Pierre Cardin, which of the two I prefer by a considerable margin - indeed, it's still one of my top ten. I can appreciate it does seem rather dated now but I don't care, I still love it.

How would you classify Paco Rabanne Pour Homme among these?
