Yay, I'm seeing familiar beloved "faces" up and posting again!

I'm still definitely on an Annayaké kick! Today I immensely enjoyed

Tsukimi

Soft cedarwood, soft spices, soft incense. Really lovely.
This scent could easily be a Serge-child...that is, on a day he wasn't obsessed with strong curry and honey

arwen_elf- that must smell great !

I've been wearing CD Poison all day - I have not oversprayed and it is lovely. I guess the stuff is a little tamer snice they removed all the phthalates from the original scent !

Triplets with Wordbird and dimples in Spiritueuse Double Vanille. Today, this is my desert island scent. Tomorrow, it will be different.

All of the silver belles were named within 36 hours of the contest being posted, and none were left for extra credit. Thanks for the comments on the collage and to everyone who played along!

EW? Ewan McGregor? Oh, I'd be tense too!

I am a little upset that this morning, husband stepped out onto the porch and saw a little box sitting behind the potted plant. My two bottles of Montana. If I'd known, they wouldn't have sat out there in the freezing cold all night. Poor little babies. . . .

So, I brought them in and used them.

SotD #3: Montana Parfum d'Homme (red box) (reformulation)

Who was it who tests fragrances in dark movie houses? Lizzie_J? I'd like to try that with vintage and reformulated Montana and see if I'm really not imagining it -- the reformulation is much more citrus and pine-y, and more wearable for me. I also get a honey-note which I don't get out of the vintage.

Okay, I'll stop raving about this scent. For now.

SotE is Gucci Envy for Men.

EW = estranged wife. Although after a month in-house (non-biblical) I guess that can't be a totally correct definition

SotE - Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie - Dirty Sexy

Nicest scent from this line I've tried. Beautiful musk with patchouli and amber laced with a syrupy fruit.

You know, that is a terrific way to test a fragrance. I never thought of doing that intentionally, but now that you mention it, I always notice when I'm sitting in a dark movie theater how it brings one's (or someone else's) fragrance to the fore. Isn't that interesting.

SotE = Lolita Lempicka, from a decant.

Malle's L'Eau d'Hiver today, with remnants of Shiseido Zen on my sweater.

I'm enjoying L'Eau d'Hiver, it's very comfortable although not exciting.

I've only worn the classic Zen before, and spritzed some Zen on in the department store the other day. My nose has been all over the place on it. First I noticed something a bit like Coco Mademoiselle in there, and then today mixed in with the Malle it had me thinking about Lolita Lempicka and then Mugler's Alien at various points through the day. I'll have to take a look at Zen and maybe test it again sometime.

Now you have me wishing I had a bottle of this right now. Right before I read your post I was thinking of it, guess it was a sign I should purchase a bottle.
Enjoy!!!

SotD was POTL Luctor et Emergo which I am newly enamored with. I recently got the EdP and find it rich and gorgeous and weird but in a good way.
SotE was L'Ombre Fauve from the kindly Veuve Amiot. Not sure about this one. It doesn't feel terribly layered or interesting, but maybe I just need to give it more time..

Ralph Lauren Notorious. This is my latest fragrance for the collection, thanks to a generous perfume angel. I really am enjoying it and I think it will be even more suitable for warmer weather.

SotD was Miller Harris Tangerine Vert...but there were vestiges of Dior Homme on my sweater. The two went together quite well, and the longevity of DH picked up when the TV faded.

SotE is Estee Lauder Knowing, inspired by a thread on the men's side. This one is best applied VERY lightly

SotN is Parfum d'Empire Ambre Russe...goodnight all.
