Lux Interior (Cramps) is dead.

The singer of the Cramps died yesterday ,sad news.
I remember when i saw the Cramps many years ago ,this was a fantastic show,remember a Lux interior with women shoes and drinking a bottle of Rioja Wine.,and of course his potent music.
Descanse en Paz. and a cold beer for him

Sad news indeed. I saw The Cramps live in Helsinki in 1992.

Terrible news yes...
I saw them live in Oslo many years ago (1990?), it was my first big concert experience and absolutely amazing. Lux was climbing in the loudspeaker stacks with high-heel shoes and a bottle of wine in one hand - even Poison Ivy looked worried that he'd fall down...

Huh. The Cramps. I saw them in NYC in the 80's perform at a little club I can't even remember the name of. I wasn't a fan, just happened to be there that night, but I remember it was a good show. I had forgotten all about it until I saw this thread. R.I.P. Lux Interior, and my sympathy to his loved ones.

This is sad and a little surreal. I really like The Cramps - and I only first heard about them two weeks ago!

Looks like I became a fan a little too late.
