Wonderful news.

Will you keep us posted about your experiences with the sense of smell during your pregnancy.

I am fascinated by stories people tell me regarding how their sense of smell got sharper, etc.

Hello, all--I have bumped this thread because I noticed that all of the samples we received from Profumo for this round have been added to the Basenotes Directory! Please add your reviews--some excellent observations were made, and I think they will be well-read in the directory

Asha, thank you for reminding me I received some samples when Profumo generously sent me a bottle of Rose des Bois! I meant to sample them, but, yes, arwen_elf! My sense of smell has really changed. And what I used to love, I can't stand. And everything has turned topsy turvy in terms of my smelling.

So, Profumo messaged me, maybe about a month ago now. I told him I cannot continue in the sampling group because. . . well, because I'm nauseous. So, I asked that he pick a replacement for me in the sampling group. (There are about 7 of us, if I remember rightly.)

And so, he picked purplebird.

Then, today Asha asked me how I was doing, and I realized. . . I still have those samples Profumo sent me, when he sent me the Rose des Bois. (To be honest, I was having some kind of nausea everytime I passed by the closet where I keep my smellies. So what did I do? I did what I think RHM suggested, which was to pack everything up in a box that I thought was making me sick, which actually turned out to be everything! And hopefully when my hormones return to normal, I'll go back to smelling like a non-regular person.)

But anyway, my point was, I will be mailing those samples to purplebird this week, or at least I shall try to! I have an odd feeling I may be a little incapacitated in the next few days. I'd hate to see these samples not get smelled!
