^It's true, that's why I suggest buying a flacon, and re-applying often. Fragrancenet has the newer clear/gold flacons of the private collection, with 15% off and free shp, it comes to 173.57 shipped for a fresh batch with all the citrus intact.

If you really want to get it I would go with Fragrancenet.com. They are reputable plus you can get 10% off and free shipping. Been using them for year. Good Luck.
Green Water has two available versions, the 1993 version's topnotes being very close to SV's. The 1993 Green Water has alot of natural high quality oakmoss in it's base, as well as a healthy dose of Basil in it's midnotes, even a little cumin (don't fear, it works), all of which differentiate it from SV. The 2008 Green Water has almost no oakmoss or Basil, and absoliutely no cumin. The Neroli/Orange Blossom is what sits under the SV topnotes in the new Green Water, I would say the new green water is a mix of selection verte (minus the clove) and Maitre's Eau Pour Le Jeune homme.
