strong scents

Thread Starter
When reading about how long a scent lasts, often times people mention that it depends on the person and their skin. I have found that there are a few scents out there that seem to last forever on just about everybody. For example, drakkar noir. I really enjoy the power of this fragrance on occasion. I'd like to try out some other strong scents. Can you recommend any?

YSL - Kouros
Caron - Yatagan
Guerlain - Vetiver

Among masculines, I've found that Michael for Men by Kors lasts very long, into the next day. However, a lot of people seem to get olfactory fatigue from the top notes of this one (as I did as a newbie). If chocolate and vanilla are your thing, Amour de Cacao lasts a very long time.

Drakkar Noir does not last on my skin. I can smell it for about the first 1/2 hour and then it will fade to a skin scent and by eight hours it is gone from my skin and clothes. I have even asked others it they detected it on me and they have replied No!

So you can't say scent are designed to last on all skin types.....

I will second Kouros and Guerlain Vetiver, and perhaps add Rive Gauche, Escentric 01, and Lapidus pour homme.
