I voted for 3: Jicky, as an obvious choice; the very good and very mistreated Basara/Basala, and my personal favorite Rive Gauche pour Homme.

Rive Gauche pour Homme is phenomenal ! Currently I am giving it a "break", but I do love this fragrance and am pleased that it is doing well. And rightfully so, with all due respect to the house of Caron.

^^^ Ditto. I had projected a Caron face-off with 3rd Man defeating Tabac Blond to advance to the third round, so my Creed bracket looks pretty ugly right now. I need to get my nose into some of this Santal Noble stuff. Is it really that much better than Tabac Blond?

Having not tried Tabac Blond I can't compare them directly but I didn't care for Santal Noble, the coffee note in the vintage formulation (which is all I've tried) gave it a definite 'funk' which ruined the whole thing. The new version apparently has fig instead.
