Bond no.9 give their house cab a Brooklyn inspired makeover


The distinctive cream coloured cab that Bond no.9 founder Laurice Rahme uses to promote the brand around town, has been given a new look for this month's Brooklyn Launch. The Bondmobile can now be seen emblazoned with the street art inspired designs shown on the Brooklyn bottle.

Before anyone speculates, this "graffiti" looks like it is actually cut vinyl (as in really large stickers). I do this kind of work for a living. Looks like a temporary thing and is able to be taken off easily once the nostalgia wears off.

Looks neat though!

American Airlines uses similar materials to accentuate the polished aluminum of their planes instead of paint. Makes it easy to take off when the old Boeings are retired and chopped up and remolded into laptop cases, Coke cans, and our favorite, perfume bottles.

However it's done, it looks amazing! I used to live in NYC and would see the Bondmobile around the city (in it's former outfit - with the round Bond tokens all over it). It's very fun. And very smart of Bond - people even take pictures with the car!

I just saw it the other day when I was walking on madison ave was pretty cool
