Hello Everybody,

I'm planning to add two new summer frags to the collection. The current frags ear marked for this summer include

The third man- Caron
Issey Miyake
Rive Gauche
Mugler Cologne
Vetiver- Guerlain

I am planning to add few more along the lines of powdery, Soapy, Fresh and oceanic accords. Something that lasts a while in hot humid heat and also be good enough for office wear.

Intense research through the forums on these lines revealed me the following list.

L'Anarchiste
Insense Ultramarine (Powdery)
Bvlgari Aqua (Oceanic)
Open- Roger& Gallet (soapy)
Bowling Green (fresh)
Joop! Jump (fresh)
Kenzo (oceanic)
Burberry Brit ( Powdery- used sparingly albeit)
XS- (fresh)

Could you suggest me which ones should I pick from these...? I plan to get atleast 3

There may be a few which are'nt in the list at all.. so please feel free to chip in your views on those too

Regards,
zeph

Summer and Kenzo go hand in hand. Any Kenzo will do.

Bowling Green is grassy and natural. So it works well for summer. XS is a high quality citrus, so it's righto too.

IMO, Kenzo's L' eau por Kenzo pour Homme is really delightful in summer.

Oh yes, indeed it is. Especially during the day. Add some Tokyo in the evening and you are all set.

Bowling Green (Geoffrey Beene) is an awesome Summer fragrance and one of my favorites for that time of year. I also highly recommend Un Jardin Sur Le Nil (Hermes), an extremely refreshing fragrance.

YSL Live Jazz! It can be had for fairly cheap. Plus, not many fragrances can boast mint, cilantro, and ambergris all at once. The end result is extremely refreshing.

Burberry The Beat
L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme
Allure Homme Sport
Tommy Bahama (any)
Nautica White Sail

I'd open up that list a little - I can already tell that I'm going to be enjoying Eau Neuve de Lubin this summer.... it is as rich a citrus as I've ever owned.

I'll just simply suggest my favorite summer frags:

Pulp by Byredo - Pulp is a daring fruity composition. "Imagine the very ripest pulp of a fig mingled with red apples and tiare to reveal a backdrop of smooth praline, cedar wood, and peach flower."

Top: bergamot, cardamom, blackcurrant

Mid: red apple, fig, tiare

Base: cedar wood, praline, peach flower

Puro Lino - The style and elegance of pure linen...transformed!

Puro Lino draws inspiration from the valuable Linen fabric and all that it represents; not only the style and elegance of fashion minded Italians, but also the comforting memory of purity represented by a clean sheet gently luffing in a summer breeze. Pure Lino is born between the essences, the extracts and oils of a small laboratory of perfumes in Italy, with the attention that is suited to the best perfumery tradition. The essential and simple shape of the line emphasize the elegance of its scent that is suitable both for man and woman.

Eau Radieuse by Humiecki and Graef -

A fragrance about desire.

It is a futuristic remake of an Eau de Cologne. It is spherical, light and full of clarity and describes the longing for ease. It takes you to a fantastic world on an unknown planet.

Notes: green banana skin, fresh mandarin peel, fresh lemon, Italian fresh mint leaves, rhubarb juice, bamboo sape accord.

Pomme d'Or by Evody -

Pomme dOr has notes of lime, oak and juniper, and it is light and brisk and refreshing and right in SMN Eva territory. Just a sparkling, happy brew that would work for men or women. Its best season would be spring and summer, but just wearing it any time for a pick-me up would work for me.
