I don't know if it's a rumour or not but I would be glad if anyone here could give us some more info.

Thanks a lot !

Where did you hear this rumor? Seems like an email to Guerlain would clear it up.

Nothing to add about the rumor (where did you hear it, Night?)

I don't think Barbara Streisand would allow that.

WHAT! I'm already very conflicted about wether I should get this, it's definitly one of my favorite Guerlains but it's so expensive (350$ a bottle) now that their are rumors that it's about to be axed I'm more conflicted than ever!

I hope this is just a rumor. When in doubt, though, start hoarding.

I just bought some at the Guerlain store on Champs Elysees and am surprised to hear this rumor. I think the SA (who knows I am rarely in Paris) would have mentioned it and encouraged me to stock up.

I am glad you weighed in on this one, Nostalgie, because I presumed you would have heard something direct from the source, yay or nay. It sounds like the answer just may be "nay."

I'll try to pop in and ask about it this week....It is always possible that the SAs are the last to know, but usually a manager has the scoop.

Its true..In Atlanta Vol de Nuit was kept in regular stock in both Neiman Marcus, Saks and Nordstroms. This week I went to all three as I wanted to purchase a bottle and non of them had it. I thought it was strange, but after reading this post I think they have discontinued it.

I asked about this at the Mother Ship (the Guerlain boutique on the Champs-Elysees) today: I was told there is no way Guerlain will discontinue Vol de Nuit. The person i spoke to didn't know anything about distribution though.

Maybe it is just not being carried as much in the States? I think all the department stores are suffering financially. Maybe they are cutting back drastically on the number of scents they will sock.
