Armani Attitude Extreme

Anyone tried it yet? I love Armani Attitude, and I'm very curious about Extreme. Thanks
post #2 of 38
I probably will give this a shot when i see it. I own attitude which I bought on a first sniff buy. I don't like it very much anymore, but maybe they'll bring out the coffee note I liked and make something good out of it.
Is it out yet? I also want to try Code Summer.
Saw it in the airport. Doesn't smell much different to me - maybe just increased longevity. To be fair, the new flankers to the feminine Armani Diamonds, EdT and Intense, also smell the same as the original to me.

The folks at Macy's have said that it should be in "any day now" and that it's on their sales sheets.

Do three world class noses join forces to conjure a by-the-numbers fragrance again? We will have to find out ..

That's good to know because most of the regular Armani Attitude has been phased out where I live and is now turning up at Marshall's and TJMaxx.

I always thought Attitude was a great scent but just lacked the longevity once great base notes kicked in.

I could not smell eny differences from the original.. Maby a little more intense..
To my nose this one smells almost like a mix of the original Attitude and Armani Code pour homme! Surprisingly I find the regular one smelling more complex, but more fleeting too - Extreme's longevity is very good, but like the regular one it is not a sillage monster either (at least not on my skin). I like both version pretty much and find them different enough to having both

Anyone else try it??

Anybody else?? lol.. I'm sorry for being annoying... It's just that I LOVE Attitude, and I just want to know if I should wait to smell Extreme before getting Attitude. I wish they would put it out at my Macys.
Apparently Extreme has added notes of Incense and Amber. Still not had a chance to properly sniff it (only tried it in passing)

I STILL haven't seen it at my Macy's or any store for that matter. Has anyone even seen it in any stores around them?

I'm going to check my local Macy's tomorrow, as I haven't been there in a while.

Still, if you need to sniff it now and are willing to do a blind buy, Giorgio Armani Beauty's US website has it available, in 1 oz, 1.7 oz, and 2.5 oz sizes.

Hey, did you check?

Last night I saw this at Macy's they had the display set up and boxes behind the counter but they hid the tester bottle - and of course it being the fine department store that it is the SA could not be found any where.

My local Macy's had the tester out today and I have to say ... GGA's description is dead on. It really does smell like a mix of Attitude and Code. Maybe just leaning slightly more toward Code ... but that's not a bad thing. I really like it. Haven't had it on long enough to see how longevity is but the sillage is modest. Again, not a bad thing especially if you're going to be in close quarters like work or dinner.

IMHO, another winner from Armani.

Quickest way of getting SA help, hopping over the counter.

I found it no different in lasting / sillage as the original Attitude but I do agree it does not smell like the original it has some Black Code mixed in.
I have tried it at the departmental store and will buy this one. And it does smell quite different from the original and that is a good thing.
I tried it at Macys. It was OK, but I didn't think it was anything special or something I would ever consider purchasing. Just another generic designer release, IMO.

I haven't seen it anywhere around here. Do you think it smelled like the original Attitude?

Truthfully, it has been a long time since I smelled the original Attitude - so I really don't remember it.
Dillards had it in my area. It really didn't remind me of the original Attitude. I could not detect the citrusy/coffee tone of the original. What I did get was a "sweet and fresh cleanliness" sort of vibe. I'm bad with notes, So I can't really give a decent analyzing job of it. I'd probably wear it. That being said, It didn't bowl me over either. I'll have to give it another go when I'm in the area and see if my impression changes the next time around.

Attitude extreme is lemony with a hint of coffee scent. Pleasant, has a good sillage and longveity, at least on me.
It seems the review section doesn't get updated 'cause still nothing about this new Armani fragrance, can anyone give me a review?
Douglas carries it for months. Is it possible there is no shop around you to try it?
No, in Belgium we don't have a Douglas store and in other stores it's not always possible to try fragrances without having a bitchy SA looking over your shoulder; most of them expect you to buy what you try.
The only stores in Belgium where I can try fragrances for free is Inno, but they are only in the bigger cities.

any new opinions? I am very curious about it too

I happened to try this the other day while I was just passing through the fragrance section...I don't even know why I sprayed it...I guess I just ran right into the tester bottle....and boy...was I surprised.....This stuff is good...As posters have mentioned already, it has that Armani Code vibe to it....This is not just an 'Extreme' or "Intense" version of its older sibling, Armani Attitude...There's more to it than just the strength...

It smells different and it smells nice.....very nice....Longevity is excellent.....As soon as I got home, I tried looking on ebay if there was a cheapish bottle but nope...It sells for far more money than Armani Attitude...but if I'd spot a good deal on this, I'd surely pull the trigger....

Wow, that sucks. They can expect whatever they want, but you don't have to buy it if you don't like it!

I've got a review up on my blog. I didn't think it was *that* similar to the original, but there were some similarites. It's mostly the same Amber from Ultrared and Only the Brave to me.

I FINALLY sampled this today and.......... I don't like it. It should be called Armani Code Extreme. To me it smelled almost exactly like Code. Maybe if I had Code with me then I could smell the difference. But I really don't like it. There's a note in Code that I don't like, but I can't detect what the note is. It smells Gingerish or something.
I sampled it week ago and.... I really like it find it very different from code, also the bottle looking sexy.
I had it already. It smells great, very love it, I enjoy the coffee note. Nothing like Attitude version, might it's a Code with less headache notes
post #38 of 38
I liked Armani Attitude but it smelt a bit like B*Men. So I guess with the amped up strength it'll smell even more like it.
