Nets debacle....groan!

Even though I wore Chanel no. 5 parfum to the nets game against the missouri buckaroos tonight, it did not seem to help our team one iota! They were unable to close the 30 point lead that the buckaroos had for most of the game.
sigh.
what a heartbreak!
we did cheer our hearts out and my boys enjoyed themselves.
even though I am not a basketball fan per se, I just get so carried away, that I found it nearly excruciating!
WAH!

Being born in Utah, I was given one natural team to root for in life: the Jazz. Nothing has been a more consistent source of heartbreak over the years than the Jazz. My early childhood was tormented with Michael Jordan dropping us back to back years. And pretty much every year since I've been born, the Jazz have made the playoffs, and every year it's ended with the bitter taste of defeat. If they ever managed to win an NBA championship, it would be one of the Top 5 happiest moments of my life.

NBA. Where suffering fans happens.

gee, you people really DO understand.

I take great comfort in this.
and yeah, it's like, I'm in Jersey, the Nets are mine by default.
I wondered if that is how the Red Sox fans felt while they were cursed.
We rooted for them until the bitter end. And they did indeed score in the final minute.
That's something, right?

hmmm.... not exactly sure what a push off is or how to evaluate it???

but a friend did point out to me that the nets were facing the milwaukee bucks, not the missouri buckaroos, as I had first believed.

You know if they were to read this in Milwaukee I think that they might just pack it in and move to Missouri. I think you might be onto something here. Buckaroos... how could you lose with a name like that? Even when you lost you'd still feel like a winner.
