Actually, the song was already quite famous long before Marilyn vamped it up a notch from the version Betty Boop sang in the '30s.

Poopoo pidue!"

By the way, the perfume now has another name: Boop Boop a Doop.
Just google for EgoFacto for their web-site.

Why's everyone so obsessed with what Luca Turin and co says. I don't care what he says.. as long as I like it, I'll buy it. If I see it has "only" .... stars.. so what. It's 80% based on personal preferences..

One could ask why anyone reads or writes any sort of product review, whether it be for perfumes, refrigerators, automobiles, or movies. The short answer is that 1) some people are more knowledgeable about a subject than others and deserve to be heard, 2) critical reviews (and feedback of reviews) provide another frame of reference than the reader's which might reveal aspects that the reader hadn't considered, and 3) reviews are entertaining.

I agree, though, that some folks follow the opinions of LT/TS a bit to slavishly.

Then why do you write reviews on a "blog", Justin ?
