Fresh citrus - woody-spicy scent for summer

Give me your tips for fresh citrus-woody-spicy scent for summer with long staying power.
I prefer classic heavier winter scents, but just for change I d like to try something fresh but from not very mainstream brand.
I tried Dior homme sport yesterday, but it is too citrusy for me.

Aqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta

Penhaligon's Castile

With either of these, you'll be sniffing yourself all day.

Lorenzo Villoresi's Uomo is exactly what you're looking for. I'm not really a summery scent guy either. I'm not much into citrus scents, but this is my one exception and it's a nice citrus/woody/spicy/herbal frag. While it's not my favorite Villoresi, it is just what you've described wanting.

YSL M7 Fresh. At first blast you might get a fruity candy scent but it settles quickly (at least on me) and then is woody.

Amen and amen to that. Neither are too in-your-face citrus but definitely give you plenty and keep on giving for hours. Castile may get take awhile to get to know but it's like a good friendship that grows gradually. The plus to both is that they're not horribly expensive.

I frequently wear citrus scents year round but fear that my favorites might be too aggressively citrus for a someone just entering into this note.

well,. the first fragance in mind,. was Dior homme sport, ... i cant stand citrus fragances, but this is more than a simply lemony base, the ginger note is wonderful and is over the others notes, but anyway is your taste...

another option could be Givenchy blue label, very nice aquatic-spicy-with a little woody base, perfect for this season..

You might want to read the reviews for L'Eau de Gouverneur / L'Homme, by Comptoir Sud Pacifique. My husband recently sampled this in a shop, and we both thought it was great! Starts with citrus, then gets all spicy/woodsy. It seems like it would be good for time of the year!

I second the recommendation for Versace Pour Homme.

I'd also recommend Viktor & Rolf's Antidote. A citrus melange in the top with a subtle mint note over lavender, spices and woods. Dries down to a warm slightly smokey sweet incense kind of note. Light enough for warm weather though.

Agree also.

You may also want to try Creed's Royal Water http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121400/reviews.html fresh, spicy, minty citrus) Actually difficult to categorise. One of the longest lasting citruses i know in my limited exposure.

Any of the 3 Acqua di Parma Colonias are lovely for summer. I'd also endorse L'Eau Neuve by Lubin and Iskander by Parfum d'Emprire

Gonna have to agree with my Versace Pour Homme friends here. Fresh citrus-woody spicy this is it.
