Niche in Norway - at last!

Hello everyone!

The very first 100% "niche fragrance store" has opened in Norway! I literally bumped into it the other day walking down a side street to one of Oslo's main shopping streets - couple blocks from where I live . Staring at me was a store with the name Heaven Scent! Its been open for about one year - and without me knowing about it(!). Its about time I'd say!!!!

They carry:

L'Artisan Parfumeur
The Different Company
Miller Harris
Diptyque
Eau d'Italie
Ecsentric Molecules
Costes
Abahna
Dr. Vranjes
Mizensir
Profumi del Forte
SheerinO'kho
Själ

For more info: www.heavenscent.no

Thanks, Dimi!
Its too bad for the store (and lucky for my pocketbook) that I've already made a few L'Artisan, Diptyque, TDC & Eau d'Italie purchases. I'm sure it won't be too long, though, before purchase #1 is history!

L'Artisan Parfumeur, according to one of the SAs, is still 'going strong' - although she told me that Dzing! seems to be discontinued. They sold their last Dzing! tester to a desperate customer.

FINALLY!

Let's hope they open something similar up in Tromsø!

For those who can read scandinavian, I came over this blogg well worth reading:

http://www.velduftende.com/konseptbu...n-scent-i-oslo

And btw, I studied the prices a little and they didn't seem all that different than what one would expect elsewhere in Europe.

To be fair, there is one more fragrance store in Oslo which carries both designer and niche: Gimle Parfumerie. Of niche fragrances, they carry: Profumum, Creed, Penhaligon & Bois 1920. And there's, of course, a new Hermes store plus a couple L'Occitaine in Oslo. Heaven Scent, though, is the only store I know of in Norway which specializes 100% in different niche fragrances houses.

Scandinavian design is so beautiful and modern. Great pics. Good pun for the store name. They should carry Tom Fjord

Thanks for the nice words about my blog Delmar
I have known of the shop since the beginning, but have not yet been there. It is a shame of course, but will take a visit in May

Shame on you! ... No, seriously, the little I've been able to browse in your blog has impressed me. And you're also here on BN! That's good. As I'm sure you've noticed, there are plenty of guys here on BN who love Guerlain too.

This was news to me. It will definitely be interesting to find out which fragrance houses will be represented at "Eger".

That's beautiful! My sister-in-law is from Oslo. We were able to go for the wedding. If I ever get the chance to go back there I will enjoy that shop to pieces! I wonder if she knows about it!

Actually .. My nick is stupid .. I did it in a hurry some years ago, and should have changed it. Of course I love Guerlain (especially the old classics) - It was the first house I started with, when I was about 18-19. Today, I have several favorite houses (to many I'm afraid)) You have an impressive waredrobe Delmar
