Blind buy recommendation

Which ones would be safe for blind buying at the given prices? My preferences can be seen in my tiny wardrobe.

Azzaro Bright Visit EDT 3.4oz (tester) ($25)
Azzaro Pour Homme EDT 3.4oz ($25)
Azzaro Silver Black EDT 3.4oz (tester) ($22)
Escada Magnetism for Men EDT 3.4oz ($28)
Cartier Declaration Limited Edition EDT 3.4oz ($35)
KARL LAGERFELD Photo EDT 3.4oz ($27)
ROMEO GIGLI Man EDT 3.4oz ($26)
Van Cleef & Arpels Tsar EDT 3.4oz (tester) ($37)
YSL Live Jazz EDT 3.4oz (tester) ($30)
YSL Opium Pour Homme EDT 3.4oz ($34)

Thanks.

Why bother? Just buy samples of each and then choose one instead of putting all your eggs in one basket.

The most versatile is Azzaro pour Homme.

For evening wear, Opium or Magnetism out of the choices given.

Unfortunately, samples are not so easy to find in my country (AFAIK). Most of the items listed are also not commonly available (esp. at those price points) and the availability changes quickly e.g. the Tsar may no longer available tomorrow.

Opium PH EDT and DEclaration are the only two worth your time, imo.

Escada Magnetism for Men EDT 3.4oz ($28). Smell exactly like Coke, dry down to vanilla coke, inoffensive, easy to waer. If you're young, care free, fun loving kind of guy then go for this scent, longevity and sillage are great.

None. Buy samples.

Oops, saw your above post re: availability of samples. I think theperfumedcourt.com ships international?

Tough to say because while some are good (Azzaro Pour Homme, Declaration, Opium) none of them are great for blind buys. Azzaro Silver Black is a 'safe' (inoffensive) fragrance, but that's the best that can be said of it. I'd spend my money on something you know you'll like. Good luck!

Additional note, I like Chrome but find it a bit too light so I prefer stronger ones (but not to overpowering for others). Also, I live in a tropical country with high humidity (rains throughout the year).

Live Jazz is excellent. It smells like lemons, grapefruit, mint and cedarwood, with a bit of ambergris (slightly sweet smelling) in the dry-down. Its one of my top 3 favorites for summer, and smells at its best on a hot day mixed with a bit of sweat. I think this would be the best 'blind buy,' as I believe its hard to find this one offensive.

He he he. Guys, you can see for yourselves the competition we have where I live.

Well, I'm expecting Azzaro PH (and BalMan) to arrive in a few days. It's from a different seller. Hopefully this one is trustworthy so the competition can lessen.

I would have to hold myself for sometime now. As the rapid increase of my wardrobe may draw too much attention from my wife.

Chrome is light! I think that is the first time I ever heard anyone say that....

Azzaro PH and BalMan just arrived today and they have become my favorites. Thanks to BNers.

I find BalMan is quite similar to Le Male. Anyone else notice it?

BTW, I find that the cap of my Azzaro PH is not as well built as I expected. The plastic is not so rigid, unlike the cap for Chrome. Should I suspect it's authenticity?

Try Rive Gauche

I am glad to see that you gave Azzaro Pour Homme five stars in your wardrobe.

I have never tried Romeo Gigli Man, but I think you would like the original Romeo Gigli.
