I came across a bottle of Oscar Blue tonight, which was going cheap. I'd never seen it before, so I asked for some on the back of my hand. As she did so, the lady also sprayed some on a sample paper, saying it was an old scent.
I smelled it on the back of my hand, and said that I really didn't like it at all. She smelled the paper and said "Umm, it's not that bad", and held the paper towards me - and I sniffed it, and it wasn't that bad. I held the back of my hand to her nose, she sniffed it and said "Yuk - it is bad on your skin".
On my skin it reminded me strongly of the bilge component in Sécrétions Magnifiques.
Six hours have elapsed since I put it on - and it smells nearly as bad now as then.
Has anybody else come across this scent? What did you make of it?
