Ahh - Eau Première made the list! Hooray!

And Dimi, too!!!

I thought afterall the list of nomination is quite respectable (except for one or two odd choices)

Two cheers for Kenzo Power!!

In the women's, Love in Black is the only one I've tried but I really liked it.

It's a darn shame Dirty English has to go up against the likes of Hinoki and Kenzo Power.

Been voting for Dimitri's blog so far, not gonna stop just yet.

Grant just added the rest of the finalists to the beginning of this thread.

I have to say that, regardless of who the eventual winners are, we have a tremendous group of finalists this year!

It is far more representative of the Basenotes Community that I know and love.

Kudos to restricting voting to registered members, the impact is evident and positive!

Man...I just have to say that 2008 was a LAME year for men's new fragrances. That has to be the weakest field I've seen to date.

No wonder I'm having trouble spending the $170 I have in paypal. I already own the good stuff!

Thanks guys... I gotta say I was a bit gobsmacked to be honest. Im sure I haven't buckleys chance of taking out top honours, but its an absolute honour and a privilege to be a finalist.

This is the first year a lot of my votes actually made it into the lists - as TwoRoads said, its nice to see results a bit more reflective of our wee Basenotes microcosm!

Is there a date set aside for the unveiling of the winners? I've been looking forward to it!

Who are all these secret M7 and A*Men admirers!?!? M7 gets nominated/wins a category every year but I rarely find anybody on the forums saying they like it or even mention it, A*Men to a lesser degree as well.
