A microreview of my latest Lucky Scent-samples

Got some samples from Lucky Scent today. I have never before blind-ordered so many good fragrances at once, lucky me. I didn't dislike a single one of them.

Costume National - Scent Intense
I get jasmin tea and amber, a bit cinnamon and even some blueberries somewhere. Just the right amount of sweetness. Lovely! 4.5 out of 5.

Domenico Caraceni 1913
To my nose it's very fresh and soapy. Roses and a little leather. A very nice just-out-of-the-shower-fragrance. Might be a bit too linear? 4 out of 5.

Le Labo - Bergamote 22
Very fresh and really does smell bergamote even though it's a Le Labo . 3.5 out of 5.

Le Labo - Neroli 36
I love Neroli, and this was a different take on it. Very, very nice. It reminds me of my childhood, I wonder why? 4.8 out of 5.

CN Scent Intense gets better and better in the dry down. I'm in love with it. I think I'll give it a 5. Must get a full bottle of this wonderful scent .

Thanks for these - I've been curious about the other Le Labo fragrances, Neroli 36 being one. Can you go into a bit more detail on it? Is it sweet/feminine and light, or is it a bit heavier?

Anthony, I did not like Neroli 36 at all, as much as I was anticipating loving it. I don't get a ton of neroli out of, to me it should have been called Calone instead. If you like calone heavy aquatics you'll like it, if not, test at your own risk.

I really like Neroli 36. My initial impression was that I enjoy it more than C&S's Neroli, but I'm gonna have to try them both at the same time to confirm this.

Interesting - I'm thinking that it'd be hard to beat Profumum's Neroli after I tried it recently.
