Which one do you like better
and which one from there collection do you like

also what do you think about Marc Jacobs for men
post #2 of 30
They both have good and bad smelling perfumes

I like Creed Green Irish Tweed and Neroli Sauvage

More importantly, what do you think of Marc Jacobs for Men ?
Creed by far. Bond 9 is too.. weird.

The best from Creed is definitely GIT, followed by BDP and Erolfa.

Bond no. 9's best bet for me, personally, is Coney Island. I'm going to smell more later, though.

Well i currently wear
Armani Code
and i want a new smell lol

to be honest i havent tried any of the Creed, Bond no9 or marc jacobs yet

and would like to know which is the best before i buy

Don't buy without testing. Go to

http://theperfumedcourt.com/search.a...b-7f4a28f355fe

and try some samples of Creeds. If you like the coconut in Marc Jacobs, you might like Creed Virgin Island Water

I love, love Marc Jacob for men and was torn to pieces when Luca Turin gave it a measly one-star in his perfume guide book. I think that is one of his very few 'mistake' of judgment. I think I'll write to him one day to appeal.

So you see, taste in perfume can vary a lot. So do try before you buy is still the golden advice here.

It really depends on what you're looking for.

Over the winter at Saks, I stopped by the Bond No. 9 counter, and a gorgeous, young SA came to help me. She asked what I liked to wear, and I replied, "Fresher and younger", and she asked if I'd ever smelled Green Irish Tweed. I nodded and she replied "Well this is somewhat like it, but younger and sexier." She recommended Chez Bond, and I couldn't help but agree with her appraisal.

Chez Bond is a younger, sexier version of Creed's Green Irish Tweed.

Yes, they print the name on each sample

I've owned quite a number of Creeds and I like a lot of their scents but I tend to get a bit bored with them after a while. I don't like Bond No. 9 as a company so I'd never buy any of their scents.

Might I suggest that if your only experience with fragrance is Armani Code (or the only one you own anyway) you explore designer scent a bit more before you dive into Creed/Bond No. 9?

If you have a Neiman Marcus near you, you can test out the Creed line. Saks has Bond #9

That is solid advice, I would also recommend taking someone else with you, perhaps a significant other, or just a friend, to get a second opinion. I know that YOU will be wearing the fragrance, and that your opinion matters most, but it never hurts to get a second opinion. As far your creed vs bond question; Creed all the way baby!

By the way if the only fragrance you have is Armani code, you could check out your local Marshalls, or TJMaxx to see if they have any designer fragrances you might like.

Samples i may be getting:
Creed Green Irish Tweed
Creed Millesime Imperial
Creed Bois du Portugal
Creed Himalaya
Creed Neroli Sauvage
Neither. Creed used to smell good, when I was younger and thought that the more you spent, the better the scent! Bond No.9 just doesn't float any of my boats. Weren't they the firm that were trying to trademark the word 'peace'? Enough said.

That's a pretty good selection. I'd add Silver Mountain Water, maybe instead of Neroli Sauvage, as NS doesn't last very long on the skin (although it smells great while it's on).

no tracking number
lol how long does it take them to ship
For me Creed is the better house and (maybe predictably) Green Irish Tweed gets top marks. Would also say though that Bond's Bleecker Street is a cracker.
You should really get samples of Creed's Erolfa if you enjoy aquatics at all. And also Amouage's Arcus, which shares some similarities with Erolfa but is greener and fruitier (mmm, yummy lime)
Of all the Bonds, Riverside Drive is by far my favourite, the rest don't really float my boat either.
From the Creed line I like Green Irish Tweed, Vintage Tabarome and Bois de Portugal.

From the Bond line I like New Haarlem and Silver Factory.

I am not particularly fond of Marc Jacobs for Men.
I say Creed. I like quite a few of their scents, especially the one from pre 1993.

I don't really like bond at all. To me they are an overpriced "if you like (insert misc creed fragrance) , you'll love our version" company.

how long do you think it would take for it to get to california
post #25 of 30
I recently ordered samples from them and it's three different people in different parts of the country that ship and they may get there at different times. All of mine came in about 5-6 business days

hmm i see
how long does Green Irish Tweed last?
4hrs tops?
Depends how much you spray on. I can smell it for 8 hrs if I spray twice.
From Bond no.9 you should try

Nuits de Noho
Central Park
Coney Island
Great Jones
Riverside Drive
Bleeker Street.

Just drop by a Bond no.9 counter at Saks, they're usually pretty generous with samples.
Are you looking for smell or longevity? Creed are better smelling but Bond last longer.
