Ipanema. Help please

I am looking for a cheaper alternative for Virgin Island Water. At the female forum I was suggested : Ipanema by Satellite.
Before I pull the trigger (blind buy) I would like to know if any of you have tried it before and finds it in the same VIW line.
Thank you

Ipanema
Eau de Parfum
by Satellite
The Scoop
The color of clear, bright turquoise blue, Ipanéma is summer romance in a bottle. Citrus fruits like orange and grapefruit swirl around and ylang and white flowers right at the beginning, while a soft coconut, tonka bean and vanilla come to the party and pure bliss ensues. Around it all is the feel of the seathe scent of a crystal clear ocean from a white sand beach. Not salty, not briney, justreminiscent of all the things that are amazing about the shore. Its a perfectly harmonious scentunique without being weird, balanced without being boring. A true star in the Satellite line.
Ipanema Notes
ylang, orange, grapefruit, freesia, sandalwood, coco, white flowers, tonka bean, vanilla, sea accord, patchouli

Sorry, I cannot help you with Ipanema.

Have you tried Aramis Bermdua Tonic or Estee Lauder Azuree Soleil or Bronze Goddess? They aren't the same as VIW, but may be close enough as stand ins at cheaper prices.

I have not tried the ones you mentioned. This is for my girlfriend. She got her hands on a sample of VIW and she really like it.
