Shout-out to Rome BN'ers - Ody's upcoming trip

I had a great, warm meet-up with nukapai during my trip to London. It was a wonderful experience to share ideas with her.

Well, I have an upcoming trip to Rome at the end of June. I'm giving a paper at the Pontifical Gregorian University. So I'd better practice my chanting
I wonder if there are any Rome & area BN'ers who would like to get together for an espresso and chat, maybe a shop sniff?

What a great trip! I do hope you get to meet up with some of the folks.

I was truly an espresso maniac when I was in Rome. Some of the best coffee I've ever had in my life. We also had some kind of swordfish dish - absolutely amazing - at a place called Caffè Piave.

I did some fragrance shopping, but it was pre-BN, so I didn't get anything very unique, or that I couldn't have gotten at the mall.

Hey there RP, I should have known you'd have been to & enjoyed Rome.
I will certainly have a great time, this is a year of travel for me.
It is kind of you to send that suggestion -- and if any others have suggestions of "must-sees" and "must-do's" them please PM me or reply here.

I thought I'd bump this thread. Now that I've had a second great BN meet-up (this time in Ottawa) I'm even more determined to do it again! These are such fun! So if there are any Rome-based BN'ers, please feel free to contact me. I'll be in Rome at the end of the month for a couple of conferences but will have some free time. Ciao,

Ody, you may want to PM Lady_in_Black. She is in Italy, but has not been posting very much lately. Likewise for Magnifiscent. I am not sure if they are anywhere near Rome, but it is worth a shot!
