Guerlain Opinions Needed "Vintage"? LHB?

I have found a wrapped box of L'Heure Bleue extrait. The paper is light blue with a dark blue label which says "Extrait L'Huere Bleue No 40.623 Guerlain Paris France"
There is a white stamp on the bottom of the box with red print, in french. (Looks like a vendors stamp to me.) There is a capital "A" & "LH1" on the stamp in black ink.

No size is given on the exterior but the box is heavy. It stands 4 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide by 1 15/16" deep.

I haven't yet opened the wrapping, so I have no idea what the bottle looks like.

Any ideas of the age of this particular "edition" of L'Heure Bleue? I would very much appreciate your insights into this particular bottle of perfume.

Oh & the ? marks are not for if it's LHB, obviously...but if it's considered "vintage".

This was a case of being in the right place at the right time...pure & simple.

I had been out taking photos of the iris gardens. It was hot. I wanted out of the sun. I needed to waste about 45 minutes, as it was too late to go home before I picked my daughter up from school.

So, I headed over to a used book store, with the idea of getting a paperback "cookie book" (that's one I'll finish in 3 hrs or less) then popping into a shop to see "if they had any perfumes".

The shop I remembered was closed: it was there 20 years ago. There was that Roman glass I always regretted passing by. His competitor was just a few doors up the block. (Bet it is the same guy.)

Anyway, the Opium was prominently displayed in several sizes, as was a very aged L'Air du Temps & a bottle of Catalyst. I nosed around, scared a sales lady who was sorting clothing in the cool basement. Feeling rather guilty about frightening the woman, I returned to the heat upstairs, poked around a bit more & found the banded blue box of L'Heure Bleue. (Which I still have not opened but then again, neither have I slept.)

I inquired after the price, managed NOT to faint. Asked politely after a bottle of the aforementioned Opium and purchased both. Since I cannot wear Opium, it should be an indication as to my state of mind.

Whilst I was waiting, a gentleman in a baseball cap came into the shop & inquired after the bottle of L'Heure Bleue. His diction was very fine. The salesman told him it must have been "sold over the weekend." This convinced me that the shop keeper hadn't a clue what LHB was & I needed to get it home immediately where it could be properly appreciated.

That's the odd thing...this was just an old ...what I'd call "junk" store. Not really an "antique" store, not as nice as that. Just an old junky place.

I can't do it. I just do not want to open the box.

Actually, it's given me an idea for a story.
