I wasn't sure if I liked Rose of Jericho at first, because it does sound like 'Trance gone Progressive' artists material being released. It's definitely not as emotional as some of his earlier stuff, but this track is geared more for the dance floor as BT said. Repeat listening does reveal BT's attention for detail. Rose of Jericho doesn't sound like Emotional Technology, I think that's good!

Aly & Fila - Rosaires

Another gorgeous trance tune! Although Aly & Fila don't change their sound very much.. I guess it's that whole saying "don't fix what isn't broken"!

great thread with such fab suggestions, i've made a list for some summer listening!

for me, Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto's Getz/Gilberto. best. ever. "Corcovado- Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" is musical poetry

Excellent remix!

For me today:

Sinful! (Tribal Mix) by Pete Wylie

A big ol' slice of Manchester U.K.'s sound (circa 1986) for those fans of the Junior Boys label / Andy Weatherall sound of the times (like me).

Again, but checking out the entire remix EP. Lots of good stuff. I enjoy the Original and Boratto mix but Apparat did the best job, by far.

Free download song off the upcoming album. Not crazy about this track at all, and I really hope that's not what the album sounds like.

That's the only album I have ever bought outright! I saw it and just bought it compulsively. He is so amazing.. I listened to other dubstep and it sounds nothing like what he has going. He's his own genre in my opinion haha

Listening to the Transitions before that one (5 or 6 June). H2O by Betoko is absolutely massive (in a chilled kind of way). I don't get the fuss about the Reshuffle remix of Stoppage Time though.

I can't get enough of this crunchy, big bottomed electro / techno. The tweeters and subwoofers on my computer speakers vibrate off the floor when I play 'A New Error' loud. Love it.

Next Lifetime by Erykah Badu from the 'Baduizm' album

I have very little R&B music in my music library. No particular reason. It just never really resonates with me. I have some electonic / blip-hop tracks that might sound like a drugged out, drowsy version of R&B (the entire Mo Wax label sounded like this) but straight up R&B? No thanks.

A friend of mine lent me this Erykah Badu cd after him and his wife saw her in concert in Miami. I love her look. She's extremely fashionable and I think she is a cool lady. Her music videos are fun too. It seems like she doesn't take herself so seriously.

Ever so often the Badu tracks come up on my Ipod shuffle and hearing Next Lifetime today it really blew me away. Nothing radical in the production. Just smart lyrics sung with lots of soul and honesty about a woman in a relationship who's attracted to a man she can't have.

Insides by Jon Hopkins

My two favorite tracks on this LP are completely different from one another. Insides is head-banging, speaker-blowing, psychedelic and glitchy with the raunchiest vocals - " pussy...pussy". On the other side, The Low Places is soft, sentimental, nostalgic and the piano strings make it almost too sad to listen to.

Out of Sight by Moderat.

Really I can't stop listening to this and Rusty Nails. The album for me is 8/10. But those two songs are just insanely beautiful. Definitely on the list of my favorite songs ever. You can't help but detect a kind of a Burial feel in those two songs. But this is way more emotional and way more melodic. And Ring's vocals on Out of Sight is just staggering. I'm in a state since yesterday.
