Nothing, nothing, nothing. I overslept and am broke and low on groceries. Makes for a not very nice breakfast.
Oh well ... I am tough.

This morning, Aiona Jr. was in the bathroom with me, while I was getting ready for work, and he found a piece of candy on my vanity. He wanted me to open it. I looked at it, and it was a piece of candy I accidentally snagged from my aunt last summer when we were there on vacation. (Yeah, it's about a-year-old piece o' hard candy.) I never opened it, because I intended to put it back in her car, where I found it.

And of course, never did.

Curiosity got me this morning, so I opened it up and bit it in half. Aiona Jr. and I shared a piece. IT WAS AWESOME. Victory brand Creamy Corn candy, made in Malaysia. It really does taste like creamed corn. It was so good. One of the few things that doesn't make me nauseous these days.

Too bad they don't sell it in the States.

Yep. Filipino here. I didn't have a fried fish (called tuyo), no time for that. :-P How did you know this?

Cup of Stash (brand) organic white tea with mint.

Hedonist, I loooove dosas! I could go for one right now. Is the pastry made from wheat, or lentil flour? I’ve forgotten. Hubby and I used to go to a place called Dosa Diner all the time. What a treat! Your pic made me smile.

I like food and traveling. I have researched the Phillipines already. It took me 3 months but now I could jump on a plane tomorrow and know where to go, what to do, what to eat and everything. Panglao Island for example and Palawan.
Also, we have a lot of Philipino workers here. Our house maid is from Baguio. Philipino Philipino not Chinese Philipino. She looks Peruvian. Philipinos are the most jovial peoples I've ever met.
