Mmmmm... this thread always gives me the munchies!

I'm on my 4-5th gin and tonic!!!! Bf seems intent on perfecting variations on the G&T, and apparently I am his only test subject! He used cilantro in one and that was actually interesting and rather... Latin! lol... Anyway, glad we had a solid lunch of baghali polo and masto khiar as a foundation to it all! (Persian rice with lots of fresh dill and fava beans flavored with saffron, cinnamon, cardamon, garlic and turmeric plus a yogurt-cucumber-mint side.)

We went to our favorite Thai restaurant and had papaya salad, vegetarian tom kha soup, and pad kee mow with tofu. And of course, a big sugar bomb of Thai iced tea. Still, healthier than yesterday, lol! Although there were no (perceived) deleterious effects, bf is not allowed to play bartender again for a while!

Fresh coconut and Aveda Comforting Tea

This tea rocks! The combo of the licorice root and mint give it a cool/hot sensation when you sip it. Like nothing else I've ever experienced. It's even good iced.
