I just ate a portion of GIRL'S DROOL cake, a delicious recipe from Bahia. Girls drool is not what you are thinking. It is a mixture of egg yolks and freshly extracted coconut milk slowly cooked into a water-sugar base. It is used to "stuff" the regular vanilla cake. The cake is then covered with marshmellow and FIOS DE OVOS (Angel hair). See here:
I've just had Beef bourguignon with a Merlot from Concha y Toro. The beef took me more than 2 hours to prepare but it was worth it. It was a delicious meal. I use a modern recipe, much easier to make than the classic one by Julia Child.
