Nuit de Noel Bottle

I bought this from eBay. The buyer said it was his aunt's, so there was no information about how old it is. Can anyone esitmate? The bottle is refillable, so again there was no guarantee that the juice inside is actually NdN. But it's about half full and the longevity definitely says perfume strength.



I haven't seen perfume in anything this pretty in decades. Maybe that means I just need to shop at better stores.

I have one of these. I had the impression it was EDP from the 1960's, but it's just a guess.

On the Nuit De Noel note - I thought I would share my Nuit De Noel bottle with you . I love this bottle - it's about 4 and half inches high and the box is lovely. It's still sealed with perfume but the smell is gorgeous. They say the vintage Nuit De Noel is different from the new - I have never tried the new but I may have to now .
I'm not sure if it is bacccarat - I doubt it is though there are 2 numbers etched on the base of the bottle.

I got a sample of Nuit de Noel from The Perfumed Court. It seems lighter, both in color and smell than my vintage bottle. I've no way to tell if difference is in formulation or some chemical change in the older juice.

Just an observation on some older & newer bottles at home: The older juices are all darker. Does anyone know if this is a result of oxidation or if changing aesthetics have led makers to add less coloring?

Maybe it's both . I believe a lot of Caron's have been reformulated.
