Have you tried Bond #9 Astor Place?

I just noticed the top notes are some of my favorites. In fact, they all look good, except for the freesia, I often dislike freesia as it seems to reduce a fragrance to a common denominator, ie; another freesia infused Calvin Kleinesque scent.

So, if you have tried it, I'd appreciate any input, comments & criticism. Thanks!

Top: Violet leaf, Mandarin
Heart: Freesia, Red Poppy Bud, Iris Root
Base: Teakwood, Musk, Amber

I found the freesia overpowering, but I seem to be very sensitive to freesia notes (they mask everything else for me). I'm wondering if it is just me.I had to wash it off.

Thanks for telling me. I wouldn't have liked it then, as I said. I probably won't bother with a sample. The notes look good but proportion is everything.

I find it to be a light and lovely floral. Somewhat candied, with the citrus figuring strongly for me.I confess though I'm not sure I can pick out freesia specifically (I mean in general, not this scent specifically. My nose and knowledge just aren't that good yet.)
