Tabac Gran Valor

Has anyone out there tried this one- since there are no reviews of it on Basenotes whatsoever. The way it's marketed and presented, one fragrance aficionado might assume it's the next big thing. And yet, most of know it from experience, the greater the promises and the marketing to back them (often, yet it's no general rule) the greater the disappointment. Since, I haven't tested this one yet, I must refrain from any positive or negative judgment, though. However, if any of you have actually tried Tabac Gran Valor, I'd be very grateful for any of impressions, descriptions, ratings regarding this subject.

its actually the whole range of Tabac that has flownunder the radar ....
I owned the EDT of the original Tabac & i parted with it , the Cologne version is much better , but my fave is the after shave .

It's a readily available low-end drug store item in Germany (as is the entire M&W portflio). Tried it once & didn't like it, but then I'm no fan of Tabac Original either. I can't provide any details from memory, but I can check it out next time in town.

I bought a 30ml bottle at a Discount Fragrance store for $10. I like it better than the original Tabac.
It's louder than the original, starts off fairly sharp (reminded me of being almost Kouros or Quorum like) which i didn't like all that much, and then mellowed out nicely in the ensuing hours to something I really liked.
I have a difficult time describing it other than that.

Sounds like a very likely future buy for me, since I already like Tabac Original.

Looks like we have had some interest & im typing again to generate more !!

Its notes according tho our directory are :
I'll add that with leather & pipe tobacco being talked about frequently , "Gran Valor" could be amongst the big sleepers ready to be awakened in 2010 .
The Oak Wood note immediately grabbed my attention & I thought should that be Oaklmoss ? but it seems there are 2 or 3 other frags with this note in it .
Anyway , if any of you reading this thread see it , please try some & let us know your opinion .

Was it a recent purchase by you ?

** Im all for receiving a sample atomiser should someone , enlightened by this thread be lucky enough to come accross some .. cheers .

I got it about two months ago. I can't help myself when I come across $10 scents.
