Coriander / Cilantro

From the Note Identification Project thread:

Coriander (natural) Neals Yard. Great sample. Strong, vibrant, fresh, spicy. Resembles linalool in character, spicy-sweet and woody. Enjoyable note.

Coriander EO: quite like coriander but not perfectly fresh - maybe wilted.

Coriander - A bit green, sharp and woody without the harshness of black pepper.

I seem to be able to tolerate coriander much better than I can black pepper.

I've always wondered - since coriander is so different smelling from all the different plant parts, do EO distillers make it clear from where the EO's are coming? If you consider how different the smells are from 1) the roots, 2) the stems and leaves, 3) dried stems and leaves 4) dried seeds, the EO could be vastly different. Is there a standard - ie, when you order coriander EO, what would you expect to get?

Coriander seed distilled in England (I bought mine at Enfleurage.)

This smells like fresh chopped cilantro. When I smell it, I crave tacos lol! Very green, but sharp citrusy, almost like bergamot.
