Rochas Man or H.M. Hanae Mori~ Which one do you prefer?

Hello guys!

I like gourmand fragrance a lot and recently bought 3 fragrance. (Rochas Man, H.M. Hanae Mori EDT & the other is A*Men Pure Coffee). I want to keep Pure Coffee & only want to wear it for special occasion or date.

Just would like to ask all guys here, If I want to choose EITHER ONE between Rochas & HM EDT as my daily fragrance. I work in office in Malaysia (air cond. from 9am-7pm, & only go out for lunch).

Which one do you prefer guys? Hope the girls will like it too!

Thanks!

Keep Rochas Man and ditch HM. It's versatile and would suit our climate pretty well. Oh, girls like it too! ....After that, find a small bottle of Yohji Homme and you'd have a very nice designer gourmand line-up IMO.

HM is a far superior frag. Quality, Development, Personality, Creativity. It trounces RM any day. Wear the Hanae Mori in Malaysia for certain. It's better suited for the outdoor moments than RM as the lavender could become intrusive. HM has a more interesting and unique combination of accords and a strikingly vast sillage for a softer frag. Think I'll wear some now.

I really really dislike HM. When I first got into fragrances a few years ago I though I liked it, but then it just began to annoy me. Stick with Rochas Man, that stuff is some of the best designer juice you can get, and as far as being a true gourmand I like it far better than the hybrid HM.

Another vote for Rochas.

Of those two, Rochas Man for sure.

Rochas Man

Hanae Mori is more unique, but I'd choose Rochas Man for versatility and its bottle design

Ive never smelled the Rochas but i used to have H.M (lost it somehow). It was a good frangrance but there was something about it that gave me and some people who smelled it on me a little headache.

Off topic but does anyone know the difference in the H.M edp rather than the edt?

*Edit
I guess my cousin has rochas man (he got it a marshalls) i think its way better than H.M

rochas for me...its smoother imo, something about HM does not sit with me right, it gives me a cavity

I like Rochas man. Even though I think its "brighter" than HM, it somehow seems less feminine.

I prefer Rochas Man.

RM is way too unbalanced for me (lavender on steriods), but it also has what I perceive as a "trashy" quality, though I'm not against that (have a few frags like that myself), but it's something to consider if you want to use it all the time, in an "office setting." HM is classy and well-made (I have the EdP), and I'd also say it's better for hot weather. However, I consider it more of an "intermediate's" frag, not for "newbies," who many not be able to appreciate it fully, whereas RM just hits you in the face and you can't help but understand exactly what's going on.

Rochas Man is definetely better than HM. HM has a sticky nasty sour candy smell that I despise. But A*Men and it's two flankers are better than both.

I don't know... I can appreciate that HM is meant for a more sophisticated occasion, and therefore it is more complex, but I have also found that complexity is not always the most appropriate or appealing. I will agree that RM is also more straight forward with less complexity and development, but I'll be "darned" if it ain't good! I would recommend RM over HM for both the climate and occasion. Definitely more suited for work. I don't think you'll get any complaints

I don't see HM as classy at all

Rochas by far, unless you have a lavender problem

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I actually like HM, it's just.. a fun scent to me, that's all. I have the EdP too

I love Rochas Man, but I never wear it as a "daily" scent. Hanae Mori is much better at that.

I sprayed the HM EdT on a couple of hours ago, and I think I like it better than the EdP actually, because it has more of a "transparent" quality, which I think is important for this kind of frag. For those who don't like the strong lavender and bluntness of RM, Jacomo Rouge may be what you're looking for.

I personally can't see anyone over age 16 wearing HM.
I like them both about the same, but if i had to chose HM. Because of it's projection.

If HM is for those under 16, who is RM for? LOL.

You should try Charles Jourdan's "The Parfum."
