Here is a Czech piece. Maybe 1930's.

Kumquat, your collection makes me GREEN with envy! Lovely bottles!

Kumquat, the last bottle is simply wonderful

Thank you both! Primrose, I take that as a high compliment! Green is one of my favorite colors, too!

So as not to waste a space, I am posting another pic of my new cameo bottle.

Mercury glass with silver top. Probably late 1800's, early 1900's.

I love these bottles, Kumquat. I particularly love this last bottle with the blue striped glass. There is something very alluring about it.

1800's lay-down, etched with gold leaf inlay.

This would have had rose oil or similar in it.

Thanks, Mimi, I forgot to say, the blue striped one is tiny, only about 2.5 inches long.

Did you just get that? I think I was watching it too. Good job I didn't bid.

Yes, I just got these recently. I'm glad you weren't bidding against me, too!

A Moser- probably. Enameled decoration.

The bottom is ground perfectly smooth and etched with #37.

This etched piece has a ground stopper that has a '9' inscribed on the bottom of the piece to match.

Yet another English cut crystal piece.

Thank-you both so much. I'm thrilled to hear from you, as always!

More beautiful bottles! I hadn't stopped by in while, but glad I did. You know how I feel about the blue ones ... they take my breath away!

My mom has a frosted glass powder jar similar to yours. I'll have to take a picture of it one of these days for you to see.

That would be fun to see. I have included those as a little hint of how I use them in my collection. There are mirrors and other dressing table items, too. I really am running out of room. I don't want to become an actual hoarder. Since I am a painter as well as a photographer, I'm hoping to include these in some still-life paintings in the future.
