Aramis Tuscany or Tuscany Forte? Which to Keep...

Let's just say that you had two bottles of each and wanted to keep one and trade/sell the other.

The reviews here of both are split, with some people liking one and others liking the other, while others say they smell very little difference. Forte has far fewer reviews because Aramis, in its wisdom, chose to discontinue it.

If you've smelled/have both, which would you keep and which would you sell?

Hypothetically, of course....

Keep the regular Tuscany, sell the Forte to me!

This seems like a no-brainer to me - keep the Forte. I used to wear Forte about 10 years ago and unfortunately never bought another bottle. I've always liked the original better, but Forte was very good. You should keep it because it's rare now and commands big money. You can always buy another bottle of Tuscany Uomo - in fact, they've just re-released it in a new bottle (don't know if it's been reformulated, though).

Keep the Forte.

I'd keep the Forte (of which I have a full bottle) simply because the original doesn't seem to last at all.

I like them both so, I can't be of help here.

Absolutely no doubt! When I sampled the regular Tuscany, I found it to be quite disappointing in longevity.

I only wish Aramis was bringing back the Forte with their soon to be launched Gentleman's Collection. I am only hoping the other fragrances in this collection will not be terribly reformulated.
