What do you think of this Azzaro pour homme commercial?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlYWFogY-SU

Normally I don't like commercials for men's fragrances of the "chicks dig it" variety -- I generally like the "man alone" type of advertisements better -- but I think this one is nicely done.

Personally, its so-so.... thanks for sharing though

Commercial never made me buy a scent, and I think this goes for at least 90% of ppl here and generaly in the world

Interesting that you said that, coz I have only seen AT MOST 3 different types of fragrance commercials on local television and cable channels in the past 6 months. Most fragrance commercials I am exposed to are links to youtube LOL

I discovered this commercial some weeks ago. Plainly spoken: I like it...

...though I wish there would have been even more women to be vanquished by the sillage of Azzaro pour Homme (and the charms of its wearer).

Two questions: Is that Tom Waits crooning and more importantly, does the addition of the word, "Intense" work to describe the effect of APH or does this mean a longer, stronger flanker is on the way?

I wouldn't buy a fragrance because of a commercial but that one is debonair!

An "intense" version exists (http://www.basenotes.net/ID26120151.html, see also www.azzaroparis.com, I can't link directly to it because it's a Flash site, but it's presented there as part of the APH line). I never smelled it.

Same here in Croatia. In 6 months I've seen maybe 3 commercials - D&G The one, Gucci by Gucci and one advertisment for women - don't know wich one exactly. Sometimes if a certain frag interests me I might go and check the commercial on youtube just for the fun of it.

LOL! Coincidentally, the ones I saw are Gucci by Gucci(staring James Franco), D&G The One and Gucci Flora

Maybe I just don't watch the right channels, but I really can't recall the last time that I saw any fragrance being advertised on American television. I'm sure it's a different story for my continental friends here, of course, though in the States it's just not something that is widely advertised on television.

Outside of Axe I've never seen a fragrance commercial, albeit I hardly watch TV. BTW does anyone else think APH is just Rive Gauche without the creaminess and slight metallic feel?

Oh yes, there is Axe of course... that one with creepy-chocolate-man got quite tiresome being repeated ad nauseam every commercial break.

Simply stylish.

I get ApH to be much more brash and herbaceous from the get-go, compared to the classic floral notes of RG. I think Rive Gauche is much more sedate and gentlemanly than the macho, hairy-chested Azzaro.
Then again, I don't have anywhere near as good a nose as many here.

This is my favourite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8BHPn0uW5g It`s so powerful, and fits the fragrance very well.

RGpH is clean, soapy, earthy (and sexy). They share some similarities but i think after using both now that they are very different. RGpH is not Azzaro pH without anything.

I love both.

ITV were showing Fahrenheit adverts during the World Cup
