Geranium pour Monsieur has been out for a couple of months now and I was asked by an editor at Fragrantica to summarize my thoughts about it for their site. That review is at the following link,after an interview with Frederic Malle:

I''ve definitely come to realize that this is a great summer scent and while I liked it at first sniff I think you'll see I like it even more on second sniff and beyond

Thanks for sharing your terrific review. I've got to say this though, Mr. Malle looks more than a little vampirish.

I also enjoy reading SMM posts.

Will have to go re-sample Geranium pour Monsieur - I'm not sure I got to smell the drydown last time - only applied a small spritz. Next time will give a couple blasts.

Thanks SMM - great tro have some more insight on this one. GPH arrives here next week at the one small FM counter tucked away in Dries van Noten boutique and there is enough serious heat left over the next couple of months for me to give it a shot in the right weather conditions from the sound of it! I applaud FM for the 'Publishing Titled Works' stance he has taken - good luck to him.

Don't worry guys you'll still have to put up with me here on a regular basis.
This is where it all begins for me.
You're just going to share me from time to time with Fragrantica, now.
Sort of like having dual-citizenship.

Great review SMM. I have been scanning Ebay for samples of this for months now...only a few pop up here-and-there usually at inflated prices. I am excited to try it, as a mint and geranium fan.

I was flipping through a "favorite BN reviewer" thread yesterday and was surprised I didn't see SMM mentioned. He gets my vote.
As to GPM, I'm splitting a bottle with friends right now, as well as wearing it myself. I love it, although the scent differs from a handful of crushed leaves off the geraniums in my flower bed. Of course there are many varieties (not to mention additional ingredients in the EdT). For your reading pleasure, here's what is on the box:

GPM "delivers the long-lasting freshness that most men want. It is a sophisticated alternative to the all-too mundane fern-type smells that dominates (sic) men's perfumery.

Thank You for a great Review!

This is, in my Opinion, one of the most original and best Scents ever done. And I think, it will also be a great Choice in the Winter. The Aspects of Geranium pM that give a cooling feeling in Summer, will cause a very special Atmosphere in Winter times, as if You were made out of ice.

A perfect Fragrance!
