Which of the following fragrances would make me happy?

1. L'Artisan Fleur de Liane
Nice green fragrance, but maybe a bit linear and boring in the long run?

2. AdP Blu Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi
Really loved this one. I have never been too fond of figs, but this one is really fresh. I'm a bit concerned of the longevity (have the Arancia which disappears too fast). Would Diptyques Philosykos or Premier Figuier by L'Artisan be a better choice?

3. AdP Iris Nobile
Didn't sample this one today. But I remember I really loved it and put it on my ever changing to buy-list...

4. Byredo Bal d'Afrique
Reminded me of Pulp in the beginning, but when I got home my wrist smelled really nice where I put this.

5. Byredo Blanche
Can't decide what I think of this one. Very fresh, but a bit watery? A little generic? Still nice...

6. Diptyque Leau de Tarocco
I read some nice reviews of this one, but it smelled oranges, oranges and then some oranges. Not to forget to mention organges. Maybe it was just the initial blast. I forgot the test strips at the store...

I gave them all (except Iris Nobile) a quick sniff in the store today but I just can't decide wich one I like the most. Advices are welcome .

Diptyques Philosykos has amazing longevity after moderate application. It was actually too much for me after the first couple of hours.

Diptyque L’eau de Tarocco was very nice -- I was not overwhelmed by oranges; it was more of a light-spicy-aromatic to me, but I suggest you test "in person" before deciding.

BTW, Iris Nobile is much more about gardenia than about iris. If you are looking for iris, test before buying to make sure this suits you.

Before you do the Fleur de Liane, check the new Miller Harris Bois des Fleurs. Similar, but more sillage & general impact.

also, Parfumerie Generale has a fig scent and a beautiful dry green jasmine called Drama Nuui, you might like. They are pretty tenacious.

After reading your post, I didn't get the impression that you love any of these scents. That's why I voted for "save your money". Buy something because you love it, not "just because"...

Hey, that's no clown. That's the symbol of sex, drugs and rock & roll. A popular image you'll see often when you go to the island of Ibiza.

Save your money.

I'd stick to one of the two ADP scents mentioned above.

I agree with what KMF said....
But I personally enjoy Iris Nobile a fair bit, and since it has been under your radar for sometime, it may make you happy...

Money sitting idle doing nothing locked and kept forever in a safe wouldn't make you happy.

Go back to the shop and try again till you yourself can decide.

I voted "save your money", because in my experience buying a frag isn't worth it unless you spend at least a week wanting that particular scent.

How many basenoters have tried all 6 of these? I didn't vote because I haven't.
