Post a Picture of Your Scents - Edition III

Thread Starter
A long time ago I posted a thread about posting pictures from your fragrance collection. As a result, I want to restore this topic again since it provided many of us with sheer joy.

Please feel free to post your collection so far.

True - but it's huuuuge! I'm going to do like the Members Pictures thread in off-topic and lock the previous ones and let this be the third installment.

For archival - here is the first thread:

Here's my current wardrobe (missing many other misplaced decants):

Morning Blossom - Profumo.it
Dior Eau Noire
Bleecker Street - Bond No. 9
Bulgari Aqua
Fleur du Male - Jean Paul Gaultier
Dior Cologne Blanche
Black XS - Paco Rabanne

These are the scents that I currently have as my favourites. I couldn't be bothered assembling my full collection for a snapshot, it would have taken forever..LOL!

A mod should merge all the threads, instead of locking the first 2.
Finally took a pic myself:

Forgot to put in the Selection Verte and Erolfa:

Lovely collection of smellies Dullah!
Saw that the 2nd edition thread was locked for some reason (kinda like my unpopular cologne opinions thread), thought that we needed another. You guys seem to be kopping new stuff right and left, so if you have new bottles, show it off! Mine:

$50 paypal to whoever can guess my favorite houses lolz

Very nice Creed collection, Dullah Doesn't look like you've put a dent in the SV or Erolfa yet!

With 7 (6?) YSLs, not too difficult to guess

Let the pic herding begin!!!

@Big Punisher, wonderful looking Muglers

My very humble, very motley collection. I need to change the Opium for the EDP, and probably sell the Givenchy Gentlemen (superb fragrance but I'm rarely in the mood for it). Must also unite the Versace with its Black sibling. And of course, upsize that darkest of dark ink bottles...

Next to feature in this family portrait? Probably Une Fleur de Cassie, another of the Eau d'Italies, or a vintage Guerlain.

I really like your collection Hide & Reason, NR, Blue Jeans, Encre Noire, Bois Farine and Gentleman are my faves!
I posted most of my collection in the last thread, but here are my most recent additions that I love!

I just noticed that about one third of your collection is vetiver-prominent as well!

Thanks.

After browsing the previous pic threads, I daresay I'm one of the few Basenoters who doesn't view their collection as an object for display. I keep mine in their boxes, in a shoebox (to have a collection that fits into a shoebox! some of the veterans exclaim) in a chest of drawers.

Well... I think it's really not that fun to show off your fragrances if they aren't up for display. I would never post a pic of the inside of my fridge with its boxes and anonymous black atomizers.

Those who have their collections on display are simply more likely to post them, so you really can't infer anything from these pics/threads. Right?
Depends. A lot of these photos look like too much bother for the sake of a single shot. I've just got to take mine out of the drawer; the hundred-bottle-plus collections I'm betting are in situ, though.

Green irish tweed,
Bois de Portugal
Knize ten

I hear you. I keep mine in this large flip-top bamboo box thing, that I put two grid-style organizers into to keep the bottles organized and not smacking into each other. Not photogenic, but it gets the job done and keeps them out of the light.

I do plan to take them all out on lazy sunday and grab a few pics though...
Nice collection surileo, would love owning all of those besides Polo Sport. Especially Knize 10 and Antaeus, nice finds!

Ah, but look closely to the sides of each main creed crest.

I see now - still quite a bit of juice though! I found it impossible to go through 8.4 oz of juice on my own. Ah well, more for sharing

SV & Erolfa, I think I can go thru, as i apply alot of each everytime I wear them. I mean ALOT.
Definitely SV - I find Erolfa to have a bit more strength. SV is one I can do 10 sprays of.

In front of a hearth?* Nah, my guess is that those who own a collection in the hundreds are well aware of the dangers of heat&light and keep the bottles well away from them. However, how much fun is a shady picture of boxes stacked in a fridge or closet? Taking them out is a lot of work, sure, but everyone wants to show off now and again.

* That one, epic, rully-rully big collection, reposted in both previous threads.

According to the poster of the pic, the picture is not updated with newer purchases. I hold my breath to see a new pic. It surely is a wonderment to many.

Here's a pic of my wardrobe, I finally got a new laptop that has a webcam built in, unfortunately it's not of the greatest quality, so please excuse the poor pictures. I don't keep them on top of that bedside table, they're kept in the drawers underneath.

Damn, crappy webcam!

Slarty, by next summer you will have to knock down the wall to the adjoining room and simply connect both rooms with fragrance shelves.

dang, Posted a long reply, hit preview, and closed the window, I'm an idiot.

anyway

PRE-Basenotes
Escada PH is my dad's, probably, saw em' lying around along with City Glam (will buy again since I almost dried this one out) Ck In2U (broken sprayer, won't purchase again) D&G PH, Bul Black and L'eau D'issey Intense blind buys after a couple of days reading BN reviews, So basically, My wardrobe consisted of two frags, Ferrari Extreme (Still one of my favs) and CK Eternity (meh.)

so after a couple of weeks reading reviews here in BN, I Have these.
(Yes, I've two LCDs. >_>)

*almost* all of the add'l were blind buys, which I've no problem with, I think reading reviews, visualizing what they smell like, blind buying and actually smelling them is partly why I enjoy purchasing.

I purchased a few bottles about the same time my first package arrived (7 more), another two from a BN member, 6 just recently and another one just yesterday, and a few minis.
If that isn't excessive for roughly 2-3months, I don't know what is.
TimothyX, at this rate you need the new cabinet soon....
and another job. lol.
I feel like I've exhausted reading reviews of scents that are on my price range, that I feel I would enjoy, so maybe after my last orders have come in, I Think I'll give my wallet a rest, I have about 20 something scents on my wishlist, and I want to buy SAMPLES of all of them In One fell swoop, and find out which of them I want. I'd probably be happy for a few months. Is there any way to block my paypal from any site that sells frags then ? LOL.

Surely you have a Macy's or similar department store nearby? They may be limited editions, but my local Macy's which isn't anything to speak of (not a huge town) has all four, and they generally never have good stuff. I don't think they should be that hard to find. The hardest probably being B*Men which I'm not sure but I think it may be back in production now.
