Help me broaden my small collection...

currently have...

Burberry London...love it in fall/winter!

Burberry Brit...not my favorite, but it isn't bad

Creed Erolfa .... like it but longevity is a huge issue

Creed GIT .... see Erolfa but even worse

D&G PH.....like it quite a bit, starting to smell a little synthetic to my nose however, but I do wear it often this time of year

YSL Rive Gauche...I like it for it's versatility. I do feel a little old wearing it (I'm 32), but still glad I own it.

Vera Wang for men...really like this but can't wear it often..winter only and a more formal setting.

Armani Attitude...was a gift before I got the above frag's. Don't like it...way too synthetic.

Looking for one or two bottles..I live in Georgia so warm weather frag's get worn more than anything. So what direction should I look? On weekends I'm usually hanging out with friends at the lake enjoying many a cocktails till way past midnight, or going to football games (Go Dawgs!) so I'd like a bottle that will work in that setting, and maybe a formal frag for business dinners, etc. There are probably some obvious holes in my wardrobe so what are some recommendations?

Great suggestions from petruccijc! (not sure on the Kouros though hehe) Did notice that most Dixie's frags are a tad on the fougere/slightly heavy side, why not get something on the crisp/fresh side? Broken down:
Get an aquatic - like Aqua or Chrome. Or something lighter, like Angel Schlesser.
Get something green/herbal - Guerlain Vetiver or Adolfo Dominguez Vetiver Pour Hombre
- Acqua di Parma, Acqua de Genovia, Adolfo Dominguez
Agua Fresca (all cologne-y...if you're familiar with Spanish
colognes, these are just *much better, longer-lasting
versions IMO)
Minty fresh - YSL Live Jazz, or Hugo XY
Fruity - there are others out there, but I have Paris Hilton for Men (which embarassingly works out fine for me) -- smells of melon, cucumber. A tad young, but the ladies seem to like it. I'm just a couple of years younger than you, I can still pull it off
Paul Smith Story is good too

Gucci Pour Homme

Casual: Cologne by Thierry Mugler
Formal: Gucci Pour Homme by Gucci (in the brown bottle - NOT the blue one) or Terre de Hermes by Hermes

You should try YSL Kouros and classic Guerlains! (namely Vetiver and Habit Rouge)

I'll also second or third Gucci Pour Homme.

I'd definitely second the recommendations of

Colonia Intensa - a warm lemon, nutmeg, spice scent. It's versatility is its strong point. It is heavy enough to wear in the winter but light enough for summer. It is definitely formal enough to wear out if you want to be perceived as a gentleman, but it never crosses the line into pretentious or stuffy territory.

Paul Smith Story - a nice grapefruit over a sharp green note (ivy leaves) and vetiver (green, grassy) drydown.

Hugo XY - minty fresh without smelling like toothpaste. Absolutely refreshing to spray on in the extreme heat.

Check out Versace PH, too. This is an aromatic fragrance with an almost woody/oriental drydown. It starts off as a tart citrus and sage and dries down to cedar and oud with a bit of a mineralic/stone smell in the background. It's invigorating - calls to mind images of white water or waves crashing against the shores near a mediterranean villa. Excellent longevity, too.

Wonderful suggestions so far that I cannot dispute. I would like to add Encre Noire to the fold. It is one unique vetiver scent. If you smell ink, it is normal

Bvlgari Extreme
Burberry's Weekend
YSL Opium Eau d'Orient
YSL M7
Creed BDP
Azzaro Visit
