there was a reply that concerned me as I'm considering purchasing SF:

Anybody else experience a problem like this? I'm quite careful about keeping my fragrances from light and heat, but I'd hate to spend a lot of cash on SF to lose it in a year or two.

Yes, the sourness destroys the incense.

So vintage is not always better?

My bottle which is over a year old still smells fine. Could be oils settling - maybe try shaking it?

Throwing caution to the wind, I bought a lovely 50ml bottle of Silver Factory this afternoon. I think my husband and I can put a good dent in it well before any threat of off-notes begins to occur. Also, my SA brought me back a sample of Harrod's for Him from her recent trip to Bond HQ. A resounding meh. Success is a Job in New York was a pleasant surprise, though.

I've had mine for quite a while now - no issues at all fortunately. I haven't had any of my Bonds change shape at all or turn in any way.

Ok my bottle's atomiser broke, I knocked it off my shelf accidentally, it hit a lower shelf and send the cap flying, then it hit the floorboards and smashed into three or four pieces. This meant that it wasn't airtight for about two weeks before I got a few 10ml atomisers off ebay and did some decanting magic. This two weeks definitely changed the stuff, only slightly, but noticeably. The metallic of the top notes lost a bit of the sharpness I distinctly remember, the incense dominates. 5 minutes in it's exactly the same as always, just the very top has shifted.

Mind you if you left any bottle open for a warm two weeks it'd probably slightly change.
