New Lolita Lempicka Si Lolita

OK, I am sucker for a pretty bottle with Lolita Lempicka name on it. Fairly decent Ad Campaign. Has anyone tried it yet? Where do people go to sniff it from?

Notes are:

Bergamot, mandarin;
Pink pepper, sweet pea, elemi;
Patchouli, tonka bean and amber.

The fragrance was created by Christine Nagel and Benoit Lapouza.

I want to try this also, i like LL fragrances. I will let you know when i try it, if i find it. Have been asking for it about 2 weeks now, not in at Sephora yet.

The notes sound appealing enough.

Wordbird in Switzerland tried it and she says it is good! (as per "Today I sampled..." thread).

The bottle is lovely - a four leafed clover. Looking forward to this- couldn't find any, where I am .

Smelled this in Paris two months ago... they were pushing it everywhere I looked. Very nice oriental with fruity tones.

No idea if/when this will hit the US, as Coral Flower never showed up here... even if it does, it's likely to be "only at Sephora", as Lolita Lempicka women's scents seem to have disappeared from everywhere but there and Nordstrom, and the men's have vanished entirely. Dunno why... they're great scents from a great designer. Heck, in Europe, they sold a Nissan Micra Lolita Lempicka Edition car for a while!

Hey Twolf! Yes, I smelled it this weekend - it's really nice. Fits in with the other LL fragrances, which I like to the point of owning all 3 (L. LdeL and LdeL au Masculin).
It's foody and edible but not rich and sweet sweet sweet like L. I felt it smelt like coconut and vanilla but my nose is crap. Did I mention really really nice? And the bottle is really cute too. I will probably end up buying a bottle and I think it will be a big success.

Me too! According to NST, Si Lolita won't be available stateside until 2010. But Nava on Perfume Posse is giving away one 5 ml. mini here http://perfumeposse.com/2009/10/01/s...lita-lempicka/.

W., nothing's wrong with your nose: I smelled 4 scents "Blind" with you! Like me, you are more of an emotional sniffer, unlike many out there.

I must have no taste, given all the love for them, but I *hate* those bottles.
To the point where I'm influenced as to their contents. So frou-frou!

I'll be good and give it a sniff soon, though - it's everywhere.

I love her first few bottles, but this one seems a bit much to me.

Which Lolita is the salty/solar floral? Anyone know?
post #12 of 15
Isn't Fleurs de Corail the salty one? I thought it was rather good for the first hour, but found the drydown boring and simplistic.

Many thanks Twolf!
I am a big fan of LL, so have high hopes for this one.
